Living Imagination (A Median Aspect in Tulpa Land)

From now on, everyone on Tulpa Info, both hosts and tulpas and any other kind of thoughtforms and everyone else in my life, biological or virtual, will be regarded and treated as "apparently sentient and a convincing personality."

That will be all.

Do not try to fathom the subtle complexities of Mistgod composition. This situation clearly did not call for the all powerful bulleted list.

August 2016

Mistgod-Melian formally begin the effort to modify their choice of terminology and approach on Tulpa Info.  Hence forth, words such as "believe," "imaginary," "delusion," "figment," "make-believe," "illusion," "real," and "sentient" will be replaced with "thoughtform," "conceived," "convincing," "effective," "apparent," "persistent" and "functional."  This will be done as much as possible.  It is not an outright ban of terms, but an attempt to use more neutral and appropriate terminology, more often, to avoid conflict and change the damned subject.

Conception: the way in which something is perceived or regarded.  "our conception of how language relates to reality"

Renewed self effort to control Mistgod-Melian negativity and cynical skepticism, which soon fails.

Mistgod and Melian make the Double Pinky Promise Internet Behavior Contract which basically states that they will avoid explicitly referring to Melian or thoughtforms/tulpas as real or imaginary and will avoid discussing personal emotional or psychological issues on the internet.  Melian will be referred to and treated as a person not a thing.  (the pinky promise agreement is soon broken by both parties)

Melian, once again drops the title "tulpa" in favor of "median aspect."  She says she is only a tulpa when she feels like being one or when she is not annoyed at tulpas in general.

Mistgod and Melian decide to put their efforts to create a Yoda tulpa on indefinite hold.  Active forcing is boring and they have made no progress.  Yoda will continue to exist (quite happily) as a day dream persona in Melian's dreamscape.

Mistgod and Melian realize that tulpamancers and tulpas are like Vulcans on Star Trek.  Vulcans would deny it if accused of it, but they are arrogant and superior and think that the purge of emotions and adherence to the principle of logic have elevated them above all other species in the galaxy.  Worse yet, they can tell you logically why that is so.

It's not so much that Davie believes in me. It's not "believe" it is "conceive."

Conceive: to form or devise (a plan or idea) in the mind.

Tulpas are not believed into existence as much as conceived into existence. They are formed and constructed as much as imagined. Hence "thougthform."

I can agree with Melian to replace imagined/imagining and believe/believing with conceiving/conceived, perceive/perceiving, formed/forming and construct/construction/constructing.

These are more precise terms for Melian and for tulpamancy. I wish I had realized this a year ago.

Conception: the way in which something is perceived or regarded.

Melian and I are unafraid to narrate Melian's actions or behavior that we perceive for you into writing. It is, of course, identical to internet role playing in every way. In the past, especially on the chat, we have had persons say "stop role playing please." WTF? So what are you going to do anyway?

*Mistgod is typing at his laptop, a very serious look on his face.* <- describing my actions for you

*Melian looks bored and yawns.* <- describing Melian's actions for you.

It's either pure role playing or it is maybe a mix of role playing and something else, perhaps describing the images that appear in my mind. Tulpas forms appear and move in our mind, after all, and only the host can perceive them. Melian loves to express herself in descriptive narration. I have never fully understood the fear of role playing in the tulpa community to be honest. How sad and unfortunate to not to be able to share the joy of having a tulpa with others because of that fear. I don't think I care to worry about such things and just enjoy it. I will let other people worry and wring their hands about it. Melian and I will continue to narrate (role play) in your general direction.

Just musing about it that morning. Each of the persons who were telling Melian and I not to role play in the past, I know very little or nothing about their tulpas. Those that narrate or describe in writing for us, we know much more.

For example: I can "see" Lucilyn waving her arms and flapping her sleeves every time we chat with her, because she so kindly described that to us and gave us some pictures. How powerful narrative writing is for sharing and how unfortunate it is people are afraid to do it here.
