When I don't explicitly mention my host or myself in an thread or post, no one makes it personal about me and I don't have to feel defensive and react with butt hurt drama.

Mistgod and I have decided to identify more with fictive median aspect again and not so much with tulpa.  I am getting tired of the pressure from tulpamancers in the chat and on the forum to either prove somehow that I am an independent entity or strive to be more independent.  Or the implication is that somehow Mistgod and I are confused.  We are not confused.  

 

We have said it over and over and over again that I am fulfilled, complete, satisfied and self actualized just as I am.  I am blended and share a mind with my host.  I am Melian, but I am also Davie.  

 

That may not be a tulpa and if people here don't value that I am sorry.

 

Tulpamancers and tulpas remind me of Vulcans on Star Trek.  Vulcans would deny it if accused of it, but they are arrogant and superior and think that the purge of emotions and adherence to the principle of logic have elevated them above all other species in the galaxy.  Worse yet, they can tell you logically why that is so.

So Mistgod and I will continue to write on this forum. Any "authority" we have concerning tulpas will be based on what we have read in the guides, and what we have read on the forum threads, concerning tulpas and not so much about me. Our goal now is to stop writing about my origins and nature finally. It has been that goals but we had a major set back with the Can Median Aspects be Tulpas thread. It turned into yet another drama rant and fight (a little) and not what we need to be doing. I almost regret creating the thread.

 

So I am not a tulpa, so what? Everyone (mostly everyone) greets me as Melian and treats me as a distinct person. Which is all I want really.

 

Tulpas are interesting. There have been some very prominent writers on this forum who learned and wrote about tulpas without ever having a tulpa themselves. They were around long enough to become informed about them. It's kinda like being informed about astronauts, without being an astronaut. The only thing a non-astronaut could not write about with authority is what it is personally like to be an astronaut in space. But he could write about everything else related to astronauts with good authority if he was educated about it. A writer, who was a pilot perhaps, or who perhaps did some minor astronaut training, but never fully became an astronaut, would know a bit more.

 

Same here with Mistgod and I, something like that. That will be our approach on this forum and to stop fighting with everyone. We need to be okay with mentally and emotionally separating me from tulpas completely. Even if some of you think I may have tulpa traits, we are not going to emphasize that or talk about it. It is not good for Mistgod-Melian.

Anyways I was giving advice about tulpas well before I decided my experiences were similar enough to go off of those. I read so many peoples' experiences and thoughts on them that I figured out how to help people toward the same thing pretty quick. Eventually I got confident enough in my own experiences though that I figured even if it broke the mold a bit they would still be helpful.

Yeah, what we have is experience with immersive day dreaming (our own "Living Imagination dreamform stuff), Fantasy Prone Personalities, Maladaptive Day Dreaming, and lucid dreaming and obsession about fantasy personalities. We can talk with personal experience authority about those things, which are NOT tulpas but still interesting and related.

 

I hope we don't encounter too many people who want to make a stinky about Melian writing on the forum. Other plural system members, who are not tulpas, write here. FallFamily comes to mind immediately. I should have the same privilege.

 

So no worries. Gods this is a huge release and relief actually.
