I became aware of tulpas via some blog, and found this site through a post on reddit.

 

Although I think I may have been here before that point in time; possibly I saw the old version of the site. I didn't register then, though, if it happened.

Hello, I'm new.

 

I overheard a snippet of conversation. It was two women my age talking about a phenomenon they'd experienced and how they applied it to their craft as writers. It was like the song "killing me softly," some stranger telling my story. One of them said tulpa. I looked it up. Totally unprepared for the brony aspect. Please bear with me, I'm learning your language. :)

So that is how I stumbled across this interesting place.
