Vampire October 20, 2016 October 20, 2016 Halloween is traditionally the celebration of the dead (who return to earth on Halloween night). You are supposed to decorate your house with scary decorations to scare away the spirits from entering the house. I think it links to a Pagan holiday or earlier? Anyways that doesn't fit the narrative of the Christian/Catholic beliefs so it's therfore considered junk although most people still celebrate it for fun. People who take the tradition more seriously on what it is about might look at it as a satanic holiday but they are definitely the minority. I usually decorate some myself, but I don't do much else. I find the taunting of fears unhealthy personally so I don't do haunted houses or similar. And it is the only time of the year ghost's goblins, spirits and headghosts can be themselves. And the jackolantern is used to guide spirits to the hereafter, and the day is important as one where the divide between the waking world and the spirit world is thin. Still, I like dressing up in costume and stuff, even if I don't go trick or treating anymore. I mostly just follow my young brother when he goes trick or treating. Yay loneliness... This will be Lucy's first Halloween, but considering I started forcing her not even a week ago, that pretty much loses all meaning. Oh well. I like the holiday though, even if I don't do much on it. I have the feeling I'd be the kind of guy when I'm forced to be adult (the horror) who fills his front yard full of decorations and all kind of stuff. The all seeing, all knowing dorito god!

Everything not shapeable is now orange and black. It was quite a surprise to me. Solune October 22, 2016 October 22, 2016 Kind of a bittersweet holiday for me. Every year I plan these sick cosplays, maybe lay down a little money, tell myself that this is the year I'll finally do it. And every year Halloween comes and I never have a costume. I've got bits and pieces of costumes just sitting in my room on various shelves collecting dust. I'm not even sure what happens. It just comes and goes. It's my favorite holiday too... I love it more than Christmas, yet I never really do anything (parties/hay rides/haunted houses). If anybody has any insights please feel free to enlighten me.
