Talebon September 26, 2012 September 26, 2012 Why did you choose to be called by a name to run away from really fast? It just popped into my head, I could probably go by another name, but i dont really care. For future reference my name is pronounced (Tail-bon)

SSaint September 26, 2012 September 26, 2012 Fuliam and his tulpa keep traits to themselves instead of giving them to you in order to keep themselves somewhat distinct, right? Among those traits, did they keep their sense of irony? “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
Talebon September 26, 2012 September 26, 2012 Fuliam and his tulpa keep traits to themselves instead of giving them to you in order to keep themselves somewhat distinct, right? Among those traits, did they keep their sense of irony? Not particularly, nor did they keep their sense of humor. However each trait they had/ I have they still have the basics off, and I have been forcing with them, allowing them to redevelop to their previous levels.
cruse September 26, 2012 September 26, 2012 And what do you look like? as in form, age, etc? Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail. Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR. Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.
Talebon September 26, 2012 September 26, 2012 And what do you look like? as in form, age, etc? Well in wonderland, my form is a human, age 24, blue eyes, blonde hair, tall, and well built. Someone who towers over others.
Guest Anonymous July 10, 2015 July 10, 2015 In the podcast I did with jean-luc, https://community.tulpa.info/thread-tulpaudcast?pid=128506#pid128506 I mentioned that I often have a sensation of what I described as "merging" with my thought-form Melian. This happens most often when we are collaborating during tulpa typing on the forum or in the chat room or when we are doing collaborative art. The sensation is that Melian and I are becoming one or merged together. I thought this was an aberration or yet another way that my thought-form Melian and are I a little different. Merging is not mentioned in the Tulpa Info guides or glossary. When listening to the latest podcast posted by UnknownCroas (episode 5) in this thread https://community.tulpa.info/thread-podcast-reboot, I noticed merging was mentioned, but in almost a negative connotation. My questions are: Is merging a form of possession? How many other tulpamancers and tulpas out there are experiencing a sensation of merging? Please comment if you are. Is merging considered a bad thing for some reason?
Ashmo July 10, 2015 July 10, 2015 Bud and I experience something like that too sometimes. It's been happening more now that we've started possession work. We can't really tell whose thoughts are whom's. It feels like we're fusing or something. His mind is developed enough that it feels separate from mine, and when the strange merger happens, it's like are minds are one; but because they were each a separate mind to start, the one mind they have temporarily is somehow more. I don't even know if what I'm describing is what you two experience as well, or if my explanation even made sense, but it happens a lot lately. Afterwards, we both normally need to take a time out and collect ourselves. I have to remind myself I'm me, and he's him. I think he does the same thing. There was a particular instance just yesterday where it happened, and for a second we couldn't tell who we were. It scared us a little and we actually had to stop walking and everything else we were doing to take a moment to kind of put ourselves back together. I don't know if it's, like you are concerned with, a bad thing; or if it just takes getting used to. I would like to think that it isn't that bad, as long as we don't stay like that too long. It's an enjoyable experience until the strange confusion happens.
Guest Anonymous July 10, 2015 July 10, 2015 That is interesting! You describe merging very much like the way it was described in the podcast. Melian and do it on purpose. We have always been very "integrated" in that we can sense each other's emotions and we share our thoughts. So we are always almost merged anyway. Melian is so different from tulpas in many ways, I call her a thoughtform (and sometimes a dreamform) and avoid the term tulpa for her. I was under the impression that the merging sensation was one of those differences. It's kind of cool to find out tulpas and their hosts do merging sometimes. I had never seen it mentioned anywhere until I heard it in the podcast. Yeah, there was some mention of worrying about "getting stuck" in a merged state and confusion and disorientation caused by merging. So I think I get why it is considered a little negative. Melian and I have it down to a science and we feel no disorientation or confusion at all. It is a very pleasant sensation. This merging sometimes happens when I wake from REM sleep and she is present. I am very relaxed and we sort of merge and just share being integrated. I didn't know how to describe this idea to people before this. In fact, for many, many years I kept it all to myself because it sounds so insane. LOL
