It's gotten to the point where we feel like we live in the head space together, and then the body, which was my body, is just ours now. Bud and I are experimenting with it as a form of possession. We started doing it accidentally about a week ago and aside from the couple confusing and scary moments it's been an enjoyable experience.

No idea how to find information on it though, just gotta wait for someone who knows to comment. But it's basically where you stop focusing on the separation between you and your head-mate while both doing something requiring focus, more or less. It's not really harmful other than confusing who's who, unless it happens too often and then it can be unhealthy for the development of your tulpa's personality. It could also be dangerous for people with mental disorders impairing their ability to distinguish reality from imagination (like many things tulpa related), or those with extreme escapism issues. Thanks Reisen! You rock my friend and are so awesome! The last sentence of your response got me laughing! *Apparently, Melian have done merging (or eclipsing) for many years. We have it down to a science. We do it pretty much ever time we do art or do her tulpa typing. We just didn't realize until very recently it was a "thing" or a skill or a whatever. We didn't know we were supposed to be "focusing on separation!" Oops. *Melian is an integrated thoughtform. We have always been able to sense each other's emotions and hear each other's thoughts. We are closely linked. *I live in an imaginary dreamworld and extreme escapism every day. *Once again I prove, or at least demonstrate, that Melian and I are something weird. Cool that you guys have been doing the same thing! I have been telling everyone that Melian and I do not do possession, and she has no such skill. I just didn't know the feelings of interacting with her that I was having could be considered a type of possession. I had no idea! If that is so, we have been doing this for years!

Being noncommittal on claims is a trait in this forum. LOL No worries. I don't really need to call merging anything but merging really. It is just merging. It works for us, and apparently others dig it too.
FallFamily July 11, 2015 July 11, 2015 [Tri] The term you might be looking for is blending/blurring, which can be read about on Astraea's Web, /r/plural, and Tulpa.io among other places. It is kind of like a mild form of merging/integrating/fusing, and generally pretty easy to undo. It is also something that tends to happen quite naturally or automatically with possession and eclipsing, which are slightly different forms of co-fronting (shared body control). Eclipsing tends to get more blending, though. The blending can work both ways. Our host, Hail, if she drives a car, we get pulled forward and blend into her meaning that the driver is 80% Hail and 20% us (though when we decide to drive, it is 100% us). Blending is something that plurals of all sorts can experience. Now, as for merging/integrating/fusing, our system has a few experiences with that as well we can go into if anyone is interested. Yakumo July 11, 2015 July 11, 2015 Semantics always pose problems. For me there is the 'good' merging that seems to be close to what Mistgod refers to as in becoming one with your tulpa. But there also is the unrelated 'bad' merging that Reisen mentioned. It's extremely annoying when our thoughts become indistinguishable and we both don't know who said what anymore. At least for me that's not related to possession either, it rather feels like some error, kinda like a deja vu. I know something is not right but it takes a moment before everything goes back to normal again. As far as I understand, originally merging meant the permanent re-integration of a tulpa or multiple personality with the same consequence as dissipation. Some users also have merged several tulpas to a single one.

Us, we have 4 other soulbonds integrated into us (long story). Our host, Hail, used to be integrated with the original of our system, S, with Hail dominant till they split back apart a little over a year ago.
