My sister and my best two mates know it to varying degrees. One of them tries it himself now, the others are not really interested in creating one.

"Sorry for that, my communication implants are idiologically biased."

Two of my internet friends know. One says i'd be better off spending time doing more real-life things (i personally think he would benefit from it though). The other isn't too keen on the idea and probably thinks it's stupid or something, but at least is okay with me doing it. I told one of my real life friends too, and discovered she (yeah, she) seems to actually have something really similar to a tulpa - that is, another personality inside her head she regularly communicates with. I'm planning to investigate more on the matter as soon as i get the chance, for science.

Today at work some co-worker asked me why theres always a empty chair next to me. Id put on a huge smile and said:

"Oh thats because of my imaginary friend sitting there hurr - say hi to my co-worker"

My tulpa: "what the ..."

Me: "see? :P"

And then we had a good laugh. All three of us.

I havent told anybody irl about me having a tulpa but ive mentioned the whole tulpa topic to some friends to see how they would react. They reacted like raging faggots.

The only one ive told about so far is some guy from Sweden. We chat sometimes. But i guess he thinks that im making stuff up.

They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here.

At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.

I've told my best friend, and despite him being a Jesus-lover he was actually pretty cool about it. I was at his house one day back in April and read FAQ man's guide while secretly browsing /mlp/, he knows my love of ponies and is cool with that too, even if he doesn't understand 'the appeal', but I still like to keep it low key. I thought it was cool and read more on it then when I got home then when I was educated enough on the subject to not look like an asshat or to misinform him I told him vaguely about it. He was immediately pretty interested and went from, "That sounds like paganistic devil worship." to, "This actually seems kinda cool and makes sense." pretty fast. A few days later it was brought up again and he asked if I considered making one and I told him yeah. One day a few weeks later he asked how it was coming along, asked what her name and form was what she was like and how much progress I had made. I don't know if it was a bad day or something but, I was kinda skeptical of how he really felt about it and was pretty short with him on the answers and changed the subject pretty fast. After a while I lost time and interest to pursue making a tulpa and gave up. When he found out he said something along the lines of, "Sorry about that, it seemed like something you were really into."

Just recently I have started again and also recently I have told him and he has again been as supportive as he can be given the little information I give him.

I think I'm gonna be a little less short with him on the subject if it comes up again because out of all the people I know IRL, who I can tolerate, he seems like he would be the most supportive and accepting, especially if he knew more.

One friend. No one else. Btw, person with the eleven year old brother, has he quit on the tulpa yet? It would be interesting to see how another 11 year old has done with a tulpa.

My parents have walked in on me forcing but since I force in a dark room they thought I was sleeping. They haven't heard me talking to her yet.
