I told my step dad the concept of tulpas recently and he's fairly interested, he doesn't sound against it. He told me it sounds like schizophrenia, but I told him why it's not, like the chemical imbalances in the brain and not knowing reality from imagination in schizophrenia and how tulpas don't have that. I don't think I'll tell him I'm making one, maybe in a few months, or a year.

I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently.

It's going to be a well kept secret till the day I day!

No but seriously,I hinted around at having my tulpa, but I doubt they've noticed

probably never going to tell anyone just so that they don't label me as crazy.

i don't have one right now, but if i told my dad about it he'd probably just laugh and think nothing of it as he doesn't really care about this kind of stuff. i've told my brother about what it was and he wasn't too interested into it. a childhood internet friend thought the concept was amazing after i pasted him a bunch of stuff from this site, but he's still skeptical about it. he can't imagine how having a tulpa wouldn't make you mentally fatigued since it's sentient and stuff which makes sense i guess. even made me a bit more skeptical about it too but it's worth trying seeing as i don't do much with my free time anyway.

I've told a few open-minded friends. They've all expressed interest and two of them are now making tulpae of their own. I wouldn't dream of telling my family though; there's no way they would take me seriously.

If someone hears me talking to what really seems like another person, I highly doubt they'll question it, knowing my strange family. However, I'll probably just keep such a thing to myself until some sort of situation arises. If I told one of my close friends about it, I know that he'd swiftly go to make an Asuka tulpa. A few people I know online know of my interest in creating a tulpa, and one has previously attempted (she didn't think she had a good enough attention span) to once.

"Mindgames, son..."

Tulpa Name: Lucy

Current Status: Working on personality, sometimes visualization (can't say I have an exact number of time, but I'd say an hour so far)

Lucy's Progress Report

I told my father, and he was happy that I try out this "crazy buddhist shit" but he's a hermit, so it's no big surprise. No one in the rest of my family must ever know, it would just bring pain about the tulpa itself, not to start with me.

My mom would say "Go read a bible" and my dad would just wave me off. Tried to talk to my sister about it since she's pretty open-minded... But thought I was being crazy and it sounded like a bipolar disorder (wat)

Please just call me Christine because Ocarin sounds/looks awkward.

Sister and parents (i.e. all immediate family) now know. Mother and sister very interested, father meh but no complaints.

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her
