Searching for "anime face maker" lands me with a bunch of different results (most of which are pretty bad), so there doesn't seem to be any shortage.

Yeah i found a bunch of these but they all are pretty poor :/ I found one software I downloaded on my home PC, I'll try it tonight to give feedbacks here.

I use Japanese adult game, or any games that have character creation feature. Thing is, I'm not sure what the rules in this forum about sharing NSFW softwares. So just to be safe I'll just tell you the name. You can search the game itself, but they're in Japanese and won't run without some configurations. Also, they mostly focus on 3d female anime-style looks.

My tulpas are not animé, but I have used animé face makers to give a quick example of what they look like to people, for the sake of having something to show them. This may be true for others in this thread. The image is not necessarily a photorealistic representation of the tulpa, but can be used to give an impression of what they are like.

Today I've been going on a bunch of character creator sites and adding new pictures of the three of us to our collection. I was told to try out an app called "Live Portrait Maker." I created Apollo and Piano, but couldn't create myself because there wasn't any option for long hair as a male.

 

However, when I was making them, I had an idea. The portrait is animated, and can be saved/loaded so you don't lose it. I think that it might be useful for hosts who struggle with visualization to use something like that to help them focus on their tulpa when forcing without having to worry about good visualization. They'd just have to pull out their phone, load the app, open the file, and look at it while narrating and such. It might even help people with ADHD focus better, who knows?

 

Anyone else want to check out the app and see if that seems like a good idea? Any other apps that might work for this?

 

(Obviously, I'm not saying a host should rely on something like this to talk to their tulpa, only that it might be helpful to certain people)

You lost me at "pull out {my} phone". But it does seem potentially useful, especially for tulpas not based on a character that has existing art, when the host has trouble visualizing normally. My visualization does suck, but fortunately I've got a few ((tens of thousands of)) images to choose from.

 

I'd honestly say this is an on-topic thread, not a Lounge one.
