I would like very much to create a tulpa, I've already started on his personality.

I'm just wondering, during the visualization process, will I be disappointed with the results?

I mean if my mind can create dreams, surely it could do something such as this.

If you actually SEE your tulpa please tell me.

and if so, how should I go about visualizing him? Painting him into my sight? Magically fading into reality?

I really have no idea how to begin this visualization process and its been mentioned that everyone has a unique way of doing it, but there has to be some common factor involved?

 

Edit: Maybe I should... take something to make the visualizing easier...?

People recommend a wonderland but you can try and imagine them in the room with you. Visualization isn't much more than day dreaming. Just pretend you're somewhere doing something and there you go. For the tulpa you just daydream it into existence be it somewhere around you or in a wonderland.

 

Someone experienced with imposition will have to confirm it, but it's an accepted part of the phenomenon.

Traditionally, you imagine yourself in the wonderland with your tulpa.

Or you can just imagine the tulpa and try to add as much of the details as you remember, you don't really need to use a wonderland. I just visualized my tulpa in a black void/background.
