How many is too many

Hey I finally decided to make a account and my big question is how many tulpas is too many tulpas.

It's currently unknown. There is a user that has five imposed tulpa, which is the most we've seen in this community so far. We still need to do a good deal of testing to see if there is an upper limit, so if you want to use yourself as a Guinea Pig and make a tulpa harem, you can as long as you have enough attention to go around.

You can find some help in MPD researchs. If I remember correctly there is some documented cases of person having up to 30 different personalities living in there head. I dont know about hundreds, but dozen is definitely possible. Also, keep in your mind rule of 7+-2. Thats empirical number of max things you can concentrate your focus on simultaneously. Thats the reason why superheroes, spaceship teams always try to stay in range of 7+-2.

You bet your ass I'm going to dedicate the majority of the rest of my life to creating at least 8 or more tulpas. I would assume it depends on the creator's capacity of maintaining partitions of their brain dedicated to separate personalities, but I'm going to assume it's possible to have more than that for anyone slightly above the average intelligence.

 

By the time I'm 60 I should have an entire gaggle of tulpas following me around, and watching me masturbate. It shall be glorious.

Even if you did make that many, I don't think it's the best idea. It might be straining your mind a bit too much (the person with 5 tulpae reports having some mild headaches) and you won't be able to dedicate as much attention to your tulpae as you'd like. Do you have 8 best friends?
