I sensed your age just from looking at your username (No offense). You're pretty young, so make sure that you really understand what you're trying to achieve here. Tulpas are no joke or something to just play around with. You probably will spend the rest of your life with one, so make sure that you're not making a big mistake that you will regret for the rest of your life. It is not like we could stop you anyway, so please take this as my honest advice. In addition to what NoneFromHell said, try to do as much research on here as you can. If you have any questions about the concept that aren't clear to you in any of the guides or threads you end up finding, feel free to make a thread about it. Good luck on your tulpa journey. I already spend most of my time in my imagination and I love meditating so it's felt really natural doing this. Looking forward to everything. Nice to meet you all.

Drakaina January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 Looks like intros go here, so here I go. Hello everyone. You can all see my username to the left, but I'll respond to either that or Kai, whatever you prefer to use. I'm not totally new to the concept of tulpas. I'm a member of the therian community and sometimes things that might be considered "out there" to some are brought up. Things like plurality and tulpas included. I won't spill my whole life story or tulpa experience here, that would probably make the post too long, I may make a thread, or share another time just so people know where I've come from. I decided to join your lovely forum because the idea of sentient thought forms with lives/wills of their own fascinates me, and I'm giving serious thought to whether or not I should form one for myself. My therapist has said I use too much of my logical mind, I don't think emotionally, and because I can see what she says logically I see that it might be beneficial to have someone sharing my headspace who can weigh in on things emotionally when I can't. Obviously though I'm still very much a newbie, and have only dipped my toes in to understanding what goes into tulpas (or is tulpa plural? :P) and the finer points of them. Reading the information you have on the main page has been very helpful, but from my experience as therian, there's no substitute for learning from real people. So it's nice to meet you all, and if there's anything you think, "oh, I really wish I'd known that when I started out." I'd love it if you'd share your knowledge.
