Nice to know you both are doing well in that cave.

The name is Henry, I would've used it as a username when I signed up but it was taken. Somehow the... interesting idea of repeating the first syllable popped into my head, and now my username is HenHenry. Now you know my life story.

Hello there everyone.

As you can see, my name's Daniel. I made my own account because I love to talk to other Tulpas and hosts, since my host herself is rather shy, I'm asking things for her too. It's been more than a month that I'm here as a Tulpa, since I was actually born 3 years ago as an original character. Being alive and sentient is really fun and my host is adorable, I'm really happy to be here.

I really suck at describing myself but I'll say that I'm a rather normal guy. I'm a tall blond man with curly hair and blue eyes. Personality wise, I'm passionnate, open minded, serious when it's needed and a bit maniac when it comes to work. I also love making new friends and give advices to people, I might have the "mom friend" syndrome.

I don't know what I can add to conclude, other than I'm already familiar with /r/tulpas, so I might recognize some people here. It'll be a pleasure to talk to you all and I hope I'll learn a lot of things about myself and Tulpas in general.

[Hi there, my name's Daniel and I'm a Tulpa. Feel free to talk to me whenever you want.]

Hello everyone, my name is Margaret, and go by Shiva on some forums, whichever is fine.

I discovered the Tulpa community a long while back and had an interest in it especially when I was homeschooled and lonely for years around 2011-2015, I had a lot of doubts and fears so I never took the first step.

I'm very sure in myself and my mental maturity to take the risk and responsibility of forcing a Tulpa. I will try to be active-ish during my forcing period to make sure my Tulpa is as comfortable as possible. Please message me if you have anything you'd love for a beginner to know, don't be shy!

Welcome to the forums. Feel free to ask any questions as you need to. We are here to help!

Hi, my name is Sal!

About a month ago I was on a long road trip and my partner, in the passenger seat, played me the episode of Reply All podcast about tulpamancers. He was like "I think you'll really like this one." He was super right, I have a soft spot for hokey, lovable weirdos. When they mentioned on the podcast that there's a tulpa subreddit I was like, "I am SO looking at that subreddit when we get home!" From there I found these forums, spent the last month reading through beginner questions and guides, blabbered at my partner about my feelings about tulpas a bunch, and now I finally feel ready to introduce myself. The more I poked around, the more I was fascinated and endeared by this community of imaginative people and their headmates.

When I was a kid I had a really vivid inner world. It was so central to who I was. Now that I'm older, I've turned my attention more outside myself. I spent so long on screens and in classrooms that when I left school it felt like I'd been asleep for years. I found jobs working outdoors and fell in love with physicality. I came to see the world as full of infinite beauty and information, each moment packed with more than we could ever consume, just this abundance of things to see and learn.

But I think this group hooked me so much because I miss my inner world, and I've never been around people who think in the same way I do. Maybe I need a balance. Also, the minds of others are just infinitely fascinating. I love how much y'all talk about your subjective mental experiences - it's a treat.

Another note: I'm 26 years old. Although I love young folks, I'm especially interested in meeting tulpamancers who are adults - let's say 23 or older. I want to know how your tulpa fits into your adult life. I enjoyed Mistgod's interview on Tulpaudcast and I've really appreciated reading his and Melian's forum posts - there's nothing like the wisdom of many years' experience!

I won't shun you if you're a young person of course. I just think our brains are wired a bit differently.

So as of right now I'm not certain I want to create a tulpa. I'm excited to work on my wonderland and I have some questions to ask. I hope you'll permit me to join your community while I learn more.

tldr; I'm Sal! Y'all are interesting! I especially want to meet adult tulpamancers. Nice to meet you!

Hey Sal! Sounds like you'll fit in great here.

Feel free to ask me or Ivy any questions on the IRC or PM.
