Hello!

I just want to apologize for this long introduction I've written down here, I wanted just put a small background of what I've done for now. The real question is on the bottom of all of this.

I'm not exactly new to this site and tulpas because I've been "researching" (more of being interested about them) for some time and read a couple of complete guides and topics on this site and tulpaforce.me regarding tulpas and ways of creating one.

I've been creating a tulpa for a week or two, started last month but never knew what to do next so i again went to try and see if there's some other way to go on.

My tulpa's name's Ivan and the beginning of creating him was a simple introduction of who I am, what I see him as (a friend, companion). The first thing i thought would be good was to not choose any personalities for him because I wanted to give him ability to choose for himself what he wants to be like. But after some time, I didn't get any "humane" responses from him (more of just an empty doll residing in my mind) and I got scared and not very enthusiastic over the process.

But a week ago I got more serious, trying to make my senses in wonderland better and excersises I've seen on this forum. I took some personality traits for Ivan just to make a background on what I see him like.

Over time, I changed my view of his appearance am able to see 80% of him but small details. I tried imagining him while walking, running, climbing etc.

I was able to decide what would his voice be like.

I've also been using the technique where you tell your tulpa of its personality and just talk about your day in for of letters.

What I meant to ask is what to expect of your tulpa after this, what kind of improvement you got to after this. Also if there was any other fun and interesting thing you were able to find on the absolute beginning of creating your tulpa.

Thank you for reading this!

(If I put this topic in a wrong place, I apologize for that too)

Hey doctiger, after a while if you keep doing the stuff your doing right now you will be able too so him a little bit better and hear him a bit better and he will talk a bit more but of course it takes a little while and it's also hard to see progression but it is there, keep that in mind. If you want to try something difrent, try it cause you cant really do something wrong. What i mostly do is listining to some music and relaxing and thinking of my tulpa. Also if you have any more questions you could also ask them in the chat. Sorry if i made any spelling mistakes, im not English ;)

That's because you've been in it for two weeks. Have some patience. Just keep working on your tulpa until it starts talking and acting on it's own. Keep interacting with him and I'm sure you'll get there. Don't expect too much, at any time.

Wrong. You can do plenty of things wrong, there is just a very low chance of doing something that causes permanent and irreversible damage. That said, it is true that you should experiment as much as you can, exactly for that reason. There's nothing you can break or ruin with a tulpa in the creation stage. The only mistakes you can make there are not forcing consistently, giving them dumb personality traits, or narrating negatively loaded things to them. As long as you try to make it a pleasant experience for both of you and force as much as you can, I doubt the specific method you use could be harmful.
