Interestingly, you can have a system who identifies as median, but has seemingly very separate headmates. Just the assumption two headmates are not fully separate from one another can do stuff behind the scenes, even if on the surface, it's not inherently obvious. For example, say you have two median-identifying headmates who have different opinions, beliefs, and behaviors. But because they believe they are median, they don't fight against blending or feel pressured to get development time. Stars, our headmate, has "clones" that work that way.
