Guest August 4, 2017 August 4, 2017 What's your diet like? Are you getting all the nutrients you need? That's one thing to check. Otherwise maybe don't ask on a random forum completely unrelated to the subject matter; We can try, but it's unlikely we'll be able to help you unless someone here just happens to be a doctor willing to dedicate some time and risk a lawsuit. My diet is mediocre and eating health-consciously is a bit beyond my budget considering how I spend like $30 a check on food. I do eat at work though, and that's sometimes decent. I'm not the worst, though. I'll have a soda every three or four days, I don't ingest overly sugary things daily. Just, general meat and grain stuff, not much else. Just wondering, I guess. I'm not personally familiar with any communities outside of this one and am not a fan of venturing into new places, so .info has always just been, idk, the place I'll ask things or vent. You know, you said once getting professional help was out of the question, but.. With such a serious impact on your life, are you sure it's not worth it? Of course, the biggest problem (in my opinion) isn't spending money, it's spending way more than is technically necessary. That's really hard to avoid. You know what we'd do in a situation like that? Ask Reddit! Find a (or multiple) health-related subreddit and make a post with details of your problem (how long it's lasted, anything you think you might be asked like diet/things you've tried), and note that you are not in a financial situation to spare even a dime more than necessary. While you will probably be told to seek a professional/spend too much money anyways, I'm sure somebody will have some good advice for you. I don't know if you've experienced such, but Reddit can be a wonderful place for these things. It's the place to go if you, for example, win the lottery and aren't sure what to do, or even simpler things like buying your first house. I will vouch for most popular subreddits' usefulness. And because we can't help you here! I worry about your well-being, but we just don't have the knowledge to tell you any more than "try this and this" (which haven't worked in the past) and "ask a professional" which probably costs too much money. But for all we know, someone on Reddit will be like "Just consult your local supernicemagicdoctor, they diagnose stuff like this for cheap all the time". Reddit knows things! (Because Reddit is just a whoooole bunch of people together in one place sharing what they know!) I'll typically avoid reddit like the plague, but I'll consider it. I'm not so dysfunctional that I'll never get anything done ever, I just feel like it'd be nice to experience most people's norm or something. I think low dosage caffeine pills can be used to regulate sleep cycles. But I don't think you take them before bed. Best guess, you take them about eight hours before bed. Well my usual time for sleeping at night, assuming I don't just stay up to avoid the 1-3am awakening in the first place, is about 10pm, and I wake up for work at noon-thirty or so anyway, so I'll try having one of them before work tomorrow and seeing what happens. Actual sleep-aids and melatonin don't do it for me, but maybe the caffeine will wear me out or something by then. ty for advice. I actually wound up taking three or something throughout yesterday, and after being absolutely dead and hardly functional for a few hours felt pretty decent, I might just process them weird or something.
tulpa001 August 4, 2017 August 4, 2017 If you're on a budget, cut out most of the meat. You can substitute beans. They're cheaper, and good as a partial substitute. Nuts also look more expensive, but they are cheaper in some cases because they are a dry food. Water adds a lot to food weight. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Reisen August 4, 2017 August 4, 2017 I'll typically avoid reddit like the plague There's a huge difference in the Default/meme subreddits and ones based on certain (serious) subjects, you know. Reddit is our #1 source of information when it has to come from people rather than an organized source, like a wiki. The fact that it's sort of moderated (not in a moderator sense) by other people just lends itself to quality answers. And the more serious subreddits have some rather serious people who know what they're talking about, too. It's not like you're literally going to r/AskReddit here.. https://www.google.com/search?q=reddit+health+questions There's a bunch right off the bat, but I'd use AskDocs. Aside from the dangerous name (for them, but they have a ToS so..) it seems like a good place. I'm sure it's normal for you at this point, but to us the way you live sounds horrible. That's certainly no small matter. Living in a developed country, just because you've learned to live with it (to an extent) doesn't mean it should be like that. You should do everything you can to make sure your living conditions are at least up to our society's standards - your living conditions are the basis of your entire life! Nothing at all is more important, not even your pride. Hopefully. Hi guys, plain text is just me now! We've each got our own accounts: me, Tewi, Flandre, and Lucilyn. We're Luminesce's tulpas. Here's our "Ask Thread", and here's our Progress Report (You should be able to see all of our accounts on the second page if you want)
Guest August 29, 2017 August 29, 2017 Anyone else have trouble talking to and meeting new people online? I used to have issues talking to anyone ever, irl or otherwise, but a couple years of working and going out regularly have made that pretty simple, and I don't sweat it at all. Online is still really weird tho. I'm in this one pony-art discord server that's full of fantastically talented people, some of whom I've actually been following for years now, and like, idk. I've been messing with pon art for a few months just, in fuckery, and feel like I'd be a bit of a bother I guess. I'd really like some assistance with certain concepts, or maybe to voice with some people and clear some of my head about it, butyeah, idk. Might just bite the bullet and ask, worst that happens is some greasey dude who breathes heavily explains some basic technique to me I guess
tulpa001 August 29, 2017 August 29, 2017 Nope. People keep inviting me to new discord servers. I'm in a bunch, and trying really hard to join less. And people keep messaging me privately as well. Edit: What sort of concepts do you want to talk about? Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Guest August 29, 2017 August 29, 2017 Mostly just technique and people's personal interpretations on workflow and whatever else. There are some guides linked in the community, but I find some of them worded oddly, and others are a bit vague for my personal liking. Idk what else, just being integrated into general conversation would probably help motivation and shit. I regret not having people irl who are more into art, even some of my best friends give absolutely no hecks about talking to me about it.
tulpa001 August 30, 2017 August 30, 2017 Well, I know two artist friends who are tulpa systems. However, entering a new community like that can be hard. Especially a larger one, who will be impersonal by nature. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
