Unfortunately, I can't resist.

 

I went to page 10700 figuring it was a place to start and I realized I missed posts there and just kept going. Along the way I noticed some posts I did see, but my checking was pretty spotty. I decided to stop on post 10750, I can catch up on another 500 or so later.

 

I really wish there was a way to view hundreds of posts at a time, I wonder if we can create an Invision tool for it. How hard could it be, just input the url, scrape all of the posts on the next however many pages, and boom, 500 posts all in one go. We know next to nothing about designing for Invision though, maybe it's really hard and we don't know it.

Anyway, I want to talk about the things I remember being the most interesting-

• I missed the snail discussion round 2! Was it round 2? I agree that Bre is probably going to live for a long time, but I bet shortly after she sends the snail into space, she'll regret her decision and then be stuck with immortality forever. I also agree with Lumi spending thousands of years worrying about a snail is a terrible way to live
• I never thought about changing the threshold and using black and white images to cast lighting. I'll definitely have to give that a try.
• I missed that fact about Fede...
• I think it's unreasonable to expect anyone to be able to deal with too much of anyone, even therapists have their limits. I do however hope that psychologists at least continue to do research and try to figure out how to help those with personality disorders if not be the ones to try and help them directly.
• I think after you have tried twelve therapists it's safe to try something else, at least for a long time. I don't think this should lead to the conclusion psychology is pseudoscience, but instead we have not yet found a good solution yet for everything. Not all psychology is good but it's not valueless either. At best it's placebo and it has more experiences to back it up than superstition.
• Tulpamancy is a pseudoscience as long as people claim it's a science. I have not seen anyone say this, in fact I usually see tulpamancers do the right thing and tell people tulpamancy is not a science.
• I remember dreaming about Discord and the cBox. I definitely dreamed about Bre, maybe Miri. I'm pretty sure they were my slice of dream too even before we could switch. I can't remember my other dreams with tulpamancers if I had any others. (Hey look, we have a lot of evidence Bre has dream travel magic!)
• B U R G E R S
• Worst case scenario, if you accidentally post in the tulpas only thread, feel free to ask a mod to help you get rid of it.
• When Lumi mentioned he was afraid of posting to give other people a chance, I never realized that and I wonder if me posting in a thread long after the initial replies is a good thing. I try to reply when I can, but I wonder if I should back off on fresh threads unless nobody posts in them for awhile and continue to post late to the discussion

Special? I don't know, mostly our plan is to resolve some unfinished business and things we're behind on. Everyone is allowed to hang out for Christmas candy though
