Guest December 27, 2016 December 27, 2016 Just let it sit like this for a while so we can finally develop a true circle jerk Speaking of Christmas, what'd everyone get? I got moneys, some clothes, bought myself a new gpu, and that's about it.

tulpa001 December 27, 2016 December 27, 2016 I Got some books, a quad copter with a camera mounted on it and some brain teasers. Oh. I also got to go to a lot of parties *sigh*. Well, technically, my host got all of those things. But I'm the one who ended up getting them. Cool thing, after running through a bunch of brain teasers, my host had a moment of extreme dissociation from my control of the body. Which was cool. Like, she had no connection at all. I Got some books, a quad copter with a camera mounted on it and some brain teasers. ... Wow. Seems like everyone gets ~one expensive thing for Christmas lol. Unless you're not 20 years old and are more like 7, then you get twice as many presents at three times the value.. As it should be I suppose. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.
tulpa001 December 28, 2016 December 28, 2016 The internet tells me the price is about 100$usd. The thing weighs like five grams. It is impossible to fly. Like a leaf on the wind. It has gaudy running lights, and a forward facing 1 megapixel cell phone camera. Impossible to fly so far. Like balancing on a ball on another ball. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Vampire December 28, 2016 December 28, 2016 I got two big things plus clothes and food/candy. First was a new computer case. My current pc is having small issues across the board that makes me want to replace it before it gets a major issue and the computer case is the start of my new build. Case is a Be Quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 with Silver trim. The second was a Yamaha Pacifica Electric Guitar in Old Violin Sunburst. Really love the look of it. http://medias.audiofanzine.com/images/normal/yamaha-pac112v-258466.jpg[/img] Now to learn to play it LOL "My lover's got humour, She's the giggle at a funeral, Knows everybody's disapproval, I should've worshipped her sooner." Guest December 28, 2016 December 28, 2016 Snowball is a solid usb mic, Lumi, good decision. Was the first mic I ever used, I think. Really want the Dark Base 900, I think. I actually got the, what is it, Silent Base 800 a while back, and it's done a slightly passable job at actually making my rig run quieter, but not by much. Might as well just go for it, I guess. Later, of course, because broke. 1070 runs well, great, perfect, can finally run most of my games. Except that I needed to upgrade PSU's to do this. Which is fine, great, I needed a new PSU anyway, went down to Best Buy because I'm an impatient fuck, people are all oh yeah man, I use this one in my builds all the time, it'll work fine. Referring to the Corsair Cx 750m. Don't buy it, none of you. Coil whine is annoying as fuck, and noticeable under any kind of stress, I'm now forced to use my headphones to play vidya no matter what. Which, ugh, is fine, just not really preferable. Ya know? Don't feel like taking it back and ordering a new one, cause then I'd just be without a psu for a while, as my old one is way, way too much of a hassle to install, not worth the 30-40 minutes. So I'll just hold out a month, buy a new one for like $150 or something, whatever. At least New Vegas is now running at 60fps like 95% of the time instead of 75% of the time, now. The strip is still murder, and will still take it as low as 30fps for.. Reasons?

The strip is still murder, and will still take it as low as 30fps for.. Reasons? Things like that make me glad that I was brough up on early flash games and the like, because I know that I can't tell the goddamn difference between 30 and 60 FPS, no matter how hard I try. Hell, there's one early game I sometimes play that has a cap of 17 FPS because the art is pretty detailed and even that looks fairly smooth to me. So I can just use a normal computer to play games without any customization and the "Low" FPS doesn't bother me. The only way it could is if it spikes constantly and renders the game so slow that it'd be painful to do anything. Guest December 28, 2016 December 28, 2016 Stutters in NV tend to be problematic because the game like, takes a second to catch up with itself, effectively freezing for half a second. It doesn't bother me that bad in most games, not that I don't prefer it to be high. NV is just, a special case. The buttery-smoothness through most of it is pretty great, though Jesus, tried playing FFXIV with the new PSU and it was actually loud enough I could hear it through my headphones. This is very problematic. For a second, I was actually worried it might have just been the gpu because the more stress it took, the louder it got, right? But nah, hooked the old one back in and it's still doing it, albeit it's quieter with less draw. Next test is to plug the computer into a different wall. Might be some dirty power messing with it, because it's definitely electricity doing what it's doing. Probably, anyway Fun times.
