I have in fact eclipsed her in the past. I'm going to try again during our next long control swap session.

 

Interesting you mention that. Due to how freely I read my host's memories, I have caught myself idendifying with her past many times. Which is troubling for me. I don't like the questions it raises.

 

They can answer for you. I did that on this month's community survey.

 

That is another question. We are used to imposing ourselves. I don't even know if we can impose each other.

We eclipse all the time. I wasn't sure what it was so I looked it up, but if "Temporary semi-merge with one dominant personality" is correct, then Meti eclipses me all the time, and I almost never eclipse her.

 

It might me tied to personality types, as I am very lax and laid back while she is exuberant and willful.

 

Honestly, while I see you happy about reading War's memories, I'm very glad I can't read Doc's. There's some weird shit up there, and I'm not even talking about the porn. He once literally ate shit just to find out what it tasted like and apparently he uses that as a baseline. If a food tastes worse than actual shit to him, then he will politely refuse it. Otherwise he'll eat it anyways.

For us, the one fronting "imposes" us, as in does the hallucinating part. But the one being imposed is who controls the hallucinated form. Requires projecting our sense of self outwardly and identifying with the 3D form. Not tooo different from identifying with your wonderland form (for a host) in my opinion. Also that probably doesn't make much sense to some people. Without tulpa involvement, imposing them would result in them.. probably just standing still. Any more would be effectively puppetting. So I impose Flandre (she can't impose herself when I'm the one fronting) but she controls her imposed form.

 

There's no real technicality to this, it's just how you choose to believe it works.

Mkay I need advice from someone who's good with sleep stuff

 

See, I just woke up

 

This is bad, and annoying

 

And I've been waking up at 2-4 in the morning, every morning, for about three weeks to a month. I'd done nothing whatsoever to set my internal alarm clock to this time, it just happens.

 

Either I stay up past 2 in the morning before I sleep, at which point I can sleep as much as I damn well please, one hour to sixteen hours, doesn't matter

 

Or I go to sleep anywhere from 1-10 hours before two in the morning

 

And wake up between 2 and 4. No exceptions.

 

I've tried melatonin, I've tried taking more than one tablet of melatonin, and that only accomplishes my waking up at 2-4 in the morning, incredibly, incredibly groggy and delirious.

 

I have tried staying awake between 24-30 hours before sleeping, before 2-4 in the morning.

 

This does not work.

 

I'm getting, unbelievably, stupid angry at this. Fuck this. And no, can't see a professional, don't suggest.

Um. . . I'm pretty sure you're supposed to take two.

We take 4-5, along with 50 mg of Diphenhydramine.

 

See, melatonin is a naturally occurring chemical in the brain primarily responsible for feeling sleepy, so the pills are best for just that: making you feel sleepy. It won't do anything to keep you down, it's just meant for people who need sleep but have a hard time getting there.

Straight sleep pills aren't very bueno either. I'm pretty familiar with sleep paralysis, as in, I've experienced it much, much more than most, and sleep aid shit containing diphenhydramine and the like are big triggers for it.

 

The waking up already starts with gross fever-dream-type things, don't wanna throw something else on there, tbh. It's like, really uncomfortable, half-awake/half-asleep, rolling over, time moving really, really slow, incoherent visuals and an awful, awful taste in my mouth. Fever-dreaming is just the best way I can describe it. Annoying as piss.

 

This one, the only one I can remember recently involved like.. A kind of cylinder thing, but it was cut into four quarters longways, but one of the pieces was like, not the right size to fit back in? That was the premise. The whole premise. I fiddled with that fucking cylinder for two to three hours, constantly just marveling at how it didn't fit together right, couldn't think about anything else if I wanted to, all while moaning like a zombie to myself and waking up at short intervals, before going right back into it

 

 

Ugh like if I could just figure out what started this in-general, I'd be at least partially pleased.
