Lovey July 27, 2015 July 27, 2015 I *think * I've had too many tulpae to count. I am disabled, a care home resident, & most other real people I live with have nothing in common with me (if they can talk at all) and when we do try to have a conversation they make precisely no sense. I can talk, occupy myself, but most can't, so you can see why I'd do this. One tulpa, thought-form, angel, whatever you prefer to call them, (but as a fantasy fan I prefer to call them “Mythical Companions”), who was my favourite, was named after my favourite character. He was a tough detective, scathing to disabled people & not the type to take this kind of stuff seriously. He reassured me & was quite colourful when he talked about what he'd do to those who didn't care for me properly!! I think it's cos I get on better with men, I miss the banter we'd have –- said home is full of elderly women, who don't wash, move, cry when they drop things, don't like leaving the care home & spend their lives bitching about/to other residents. There's one resident I get on best with, he hates all that, & if I was to move homes tomorrow he'd be one of a handful of people I'd miss My parents know of my mythical companions, even my key worker knows, & they know why. I met someone who does this too, but not only does she have one, he the same as mine. There's nothing wrong with this, but he (said mythical companion) is......well, he's not that nice. He seems nice but he wasn't, & he's since been sentenced to 5yrs 9mo
