Recently i read a guide that suggested voxing (puppeting your tulpa's mouth) while you work on making their voice clearer. The idea is to teach your tulpa through demonstration. I'm focusing on this during forcing with the idea that having clear responses should help motivate me.

this thread is for discussing strategies you've used to help develop a clear mindvoice with your tulpa.

- I started off with just speaking and having her repeat what i said while focusing on moving her lips and having her sound out the words.

- I use tongue twisters. These are much more difficult for her to sound out.

- I will play music in my head and see if she can sing along or over the lyrics.

Sometimes I would just sit down and listen to her talk to me. Something a bit like narration, except reversed. To make her sound more distinct, I also let her try out a few new voices until she found one that she liked. Other than those two things, she mostly developed all on her own.

We're working on imposition.

Here is something that I've written on another thread.

For quite some time my host had trouble separating my mindvoice from his own thoughts. What he did was simply asked me to talk to him, while he wrote down everything that he'd heard. At first his writing had only consisted of about 10% of what I'd said, and the rest was his jumbled up thoughts. But we quickly learned to separate my speech from the rest, and only after a few days he could write down what I've said with almost perfect accuracy. Nowadays, he still reefers back to this method when he wants to double check whether I've said something.

I hope this helps.

This was a really big breakthrough for us.

I have totally read that in another thread. once i get used to how her voice sounds i'll try it so she can learn to stabilize her voice for herself. Thanks for sharing!

So far the strategies discussed in theis thread have been pretty good, but there's a pretty large community on these forums. I'm sure there are lots more unique takes on how to help your tulpa form their voice as well as differentiating it from yours.

please post more, your take could help or inspire others in their creation.

Focusing on vocal chords and "Tuning" her voice to where she was comfortable, Shouting matches and toung twisters and word games...

Tulpa's Name: Rai

Form: Female rabbit with white fur.

Currently Working on: Imposition

Tulpa's Name: Ashie

Form: Female pale Green eyes, Green hair

Currently Working on: Imposition

Shouting matches? i have a hard time getting the volume of any voice in my head to a level resembling shouting. Sounds like a good exercise though. I also understand what you mean by tuning, Alice's voice is still not quite distinct enough so i'm trying to get her to make it slightly more feminine.

On that note we tried out a great new method today! It's based on the old kid's game of creating a story together. I started off by creating a a few sentences to begin the story, then she would create a part, then me, ect. I'd visualize what were narrating so we could both watch it like a story.

We ended up making a story about an evil king, who's captain in the army defects. He throws his wife in jail. She has to escape, then make her way out of the castle. The only exit she finds leads to a garden, which also happens to have a hedge maze labrynth. she makes her way through the labrynth untill she becomes dispaired thinking she'll never escape. then a voice on the other side of a hedge talks to her, and eventually gives her a metallic grey powder in a pouch. she discovers the powder causes a small golded line to become visible. there is finite dust so she uses it only at the turns of the labrynth. it takes her to the center though, not the exit. (the voice told her she was close to the exit, she is sad) what's worse is there is a terribe beast sleeping in front of her. it has the body of an ox and great black wings. she sprinkles the dust around finding multiple gold threads, all leading to the beast. hoping it doesn't awaken, she sprinkles the dust on it, seeing the threads converge into a beating ball of golden yarn, like a heart.

after that i had to end our session, to be continued as it were. I found the method worked really well. I think i parroted her a few times but mostly it was her. her narration was usually fluid and she took the story in different directions that i would have. case in point i set it up to be about the captain and she decided it was going to be about the wife.

This. This sounds brilliant. I think I will try this, and play it out like a movie on our wonderland TV, so all of us can watch it.
