When I force, I've noticed that I awkwardly switch points of view depending on what activity Kellen and I are doing.

Like, if I'm just visualizing him in general it'll be first person, but if I want to do something like waltz (he's big on dancing), I randomly switch to third person. Is this normal and is there anything I can do about it?

It is normal, happens to me all the time. I think it just relies on focusing more so you can stay in first person.

Is it normal? Sure it is. I actually visualize in third-person all the time.

Is there anything you can do about it? Yep! When you catch yourself switching to third-person, try to continue visualizing in first-person. Practice first-person visualization, and you'll get the hang of doing it more naturally all the time.

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

Focusing on sensing more details in more of your senses tends to help you stay in first person view. Some have also reported that playing first- or third-person view video games a lot affects which way they visualize.
