Hi, first time posting here. I started forcing about two years ago, but I fell off of it for a reeeeally long time and just no picked back up on it a few weeks ago. Progress was comfortably slow and I was content with just working through it. But as time went on I found that forcing was really hard for me and working at something without seemingly any results were the reason I gave up in the first place. Recently I feel I've been doing good and at one point I was even able to completely visualize her. Then suddenly I had a hard time visualizing her at all. Now it's like I can't even find her. I mean, I can picture her in my head and mull over her features, but it's like he's not there. It doesn't help that I can only force for about thirty minutes on average, only going a full hour once or twice. Any advice?

Oh, i have this problem quite often. My tulpa keeps jumping from a high level of autonomy back to a point where i can't feel her at all after a few days of real progress. She get's back to a more stable level after a short while, though. The problem probably occurs BECAUSE you make progress in the first place. It's like getting deaf for everything your tulpa is about.

My advice is pretty simple: If you get to a point where it gets really hard to just imagine how your tulpa looks, give it a rest and don't force any visualisation. After your break force your tulpa like it was day 1.

Don't try to "feel" at all, just give it everything you have. Keep that up for a while , like atleast an hour, may keep it passive a while longer. Afterwards you could try to feel your tulpa again, concentrate on everything your tulpa is made of, not just on how it looks.

Edit: Oh, and try your best to don't freak out about it, it can be a real letdown.

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

This a common problem, I suffered from it for quite a while. The key, in my newb opinion, is concentration itself. Before I force, I meditate, ease my anxieties, drink tea, and relaaaaaaax. This makes forcing a lot easier than otherwise.

Also, do you have a wonderland? These can make forcing a bit more unique, and, dare I say, fun?

Yeah I have a wonderland. But there isn't anything for miles so I can't really go exploring. I honestly don't even know how to explore with her sense it'd feel like I'm parroting her.

I actually wonder myself how you would concentrate better on your tulpa.

All I got and get better at is listening to Esterina... the whole imposition thing and everything else is her doing, I don't have to do anything.

(I'm actually awful at imposition myself. I can't for the life of me make her be around of my own accord.)

This goes for the wonderland thing too; I can have myself sitting in a chair there, but not much else, because my perception of it is too unstable.

It's just fine for her though, all stable, and as far as I can tell she can move around in there without a problem.

That is true. He never left his chair there.

But the psychology-schooled part of my brain says:

Meditation, and practice focusing on things intensely in your everyday life without allowing something to distract you.

That should help.
