Wow, I'm glad I had Brassow's Jean-luc comic to prepare me for what this thread turned into. Probably as good a time as any to state that I have practically no sexual tendencies. I think the Tumblr term is demi-sexual or something, the one that means you don't get turned on unless it's in a specifically intimate relationship. Always found the way guys slobber over any woman with big boobs, even when they're clothed, to be rather rude. It's probably a good thing I have this trait, else I would never survive my trips to danbooru to find nice images of my tulpas. I wish I could use safebooru or something, but they just don't have as many images. Gelbooru has even more than Danbooru, but the extra is all porn. I refuse. Hmmm, my tulpa isn't based off of a character so I don't know if my opinion is valid, but how can you steer clear from getting angry over all the people using the form that you based your tulpa off of for their sexual enjoyment while going through those sites? I know for a fact that I'd probably go mad and abstain myself from the Internet for a considerable amount of time. I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.

Haha, I find it funny that I'm actually pretty similar when it comes to image searching for my fictional-folk. But, instead of finding safebooru not having enough images for me, I actually find even it to be too risque for my own tastes. Perhaps it's because, unlike you, I still have more "normal" drives, I just hold them back an take effort to not have them influence my behavior. You can say I'm rather prudish, I wouldn't take it as an insulting thing at all. Since some of my group are more on the obscure side (Like, say Dorris, Tomo, and Milia), finding any decent images of them becomes a sort of quest, and the boorus are only of slight help.
