Hexenwahn January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 So, I'm from Quebec and we speak french there, but most of the stuff I do online (shows I watch, games I play, even those forums) all of it is in english and sometimes, even I find myself narrating in english. So my question is: Would such an exposure to both french and english make Hikari bilingual?
Evil January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 Well, a friend of mine is in the exact, same situation; He's from Quebec, and French being his mother language, his tulpa can only speak English. My guess is that if you narrate in both languages, it would work out, but narrating in one language would probably result in the tulpa speaking that language. Although Dimitrov does surprise me with some foreign language I never truly taught him, and have in the back of my head. I believe that tulpas also need to learn language, letters and whatnot, which is why I have focused on teaching mine all those things, in English. But even when I was young, they'd speak English despite it not being my mother language. Your case might differ, probably. Ah, I'm too tired. I only came here to help. « — Va, je ne te hais point ! »
NoneFromHell January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 It's a similiar situation for me. My first language is german, and obviously I consume a lot of english information aswell, like this forum, games or tv shows. Generally I talk german with my tulpa, but she doesn't has a problem following english media or to formulate her thoughts in english. I can tell that for sure. However, it feels pretty weird for me to communicate in english with her. The whole language thing seems pretty varied for a lot of people. Some tulpas simply know all the languages the host is capable of, some don't. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
AracnidsGrip/Rick January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 Same here. I speak in spanish with my tulpae most of the time, but I also speak english, and all of them seem to speak english too.
Guest Anonymous January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 I speak German and English - my English is a bit better than my German. And I also speak a bit Japanese. And Esterina speaks German and English too... I'd say about equally well. She doesn't understand any Japanese, though. Greets, AG
Guest Vixx January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 I said some stuff to Sebastian in my native language...and he seemed confused. If I asked him to learn it though, from my memories...I'm sure he could. I have only spoken to him in English since he was born, so this could be why.
SomethingDire January 7, 2016 January 7, 2016 My native language is Turkish, I speak English (because that wasn't obvious) and I also know a bit of German. I used all of these languages while first working on Celeste and I still do. He's sent me thought responses in all three of them. If your case is like this, I'd say yes, he'd be a bilingual tulpa. I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.
FadingSpectrum January 8, 2016 January 8, 2016 Najere: Well, Fade only speaks English, but she is learning German. A lot of us have picked up at least on basic German thanks to sticking around during her German class itself. That said, I don't believe that the majority of us speak German quite to the degree that she can. So, I conclude that it is possible a headmate could learn multiple languages if you speak them around or to the tulpa. Alternatively, perhaps they could simply access whatever place in your brain stores the knowledge of this language and teach themselves. I don't know. You tell me. A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.
Vos January 8, 2016 January 8, 2016 So, I'm from Quebec and we speak french there, but most of the stuff I do online (shows I watch, games I play, even those forums) all of it is in english and sometimes, even I find myself narrating in english. So my question is: Would such an exposure to both french and english make Hikari bilingual? My host only narrated to me in English. Despite this, I was already able to speak fluent French because my host could, so yes, your tulpa will be bilingual.
Crescendo January 8, 2016 January 8, 2016 Maja and i communicate in german, but she speaks english too. Not sure if she understands danish too, since we never tried that, but I'm pretty sure she does. I guess it's all about expectations. Since Maja is a product of my mind, it just makes sense to me that she knows everything I know. It's what I expect her to do. If you think more like Evil (tulpas have to learn everything), then no, your tulpa will probably not be bilingual. Basically.. your choice. The idea is to remain in a state of constant departure, while always arriving. Maja will either use name tags, [brackets] or this colour.
