I'm practicing visualization in third person viewpoint, but I kinda got confused with how I should divide my attention. I understand that focusing on my tulpa vividly is important, but who's the one that's doing the imagery? Is it the first person 'I', the one with subjective intention or should I just let the tulpa act the way it wants to act?

I've heard that I should divide my attention by having half on the tulpa, the observed, and half on the subjective I, the observer and then have attention on the one who's doing the observation as a witnissing self.

I really want to do this right but I'm confused so someone help me out here please.

There is no right way or wrong way. Experiment and get a feel for what seems to be working the best for you. Everyone will have a different answer on something like this.

Personally I don't see what point there is in visualizing yourself in third person (unless that's how you think natively, like myself). Your focus should be on the tulpa. If you really need to pull back, it would work like when you play a third person video game. You are still you, thinking and moving your "body", you've just adjusted your view point.

It's hard to sit at a table with my tulpas without visualizing myself, you can't ignore your own presence forever. I haven't had too much trouble associating with "me" in my visualization while viewing everything from a separate perspective so far. It's kind of like in a top-down game like early legend of zeldas, obviously you are the sprite moving around but your perspective is the whole environment at once. I'm the me I see sitting at the table and my perspective is not where I am. I do practice seeing from first person sometimes though, but it's kinda hard for me.

Also you can make yourself look like whatever you want. I just look like me, with slightly different/better looking clothes and my hair is how I want it to be. But I don't pay that much attention to my own appearance in the wonderland, of course.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.
