I have a question. As regards the calculation of time. What exactly do you mean? I recently stopped in watching and writing time, but I have measured the time after which I forced. (For example, I set the cell phone countdown thirty minutes after I made them this is bad too?)

Now I'm counting the time and anything to do with avoided the time.

I'm the man with the dark mind but with the heart of gold. I ask what I am good or bad person? What directs my actions?

Tulpa isn't about why, it's about why not.

The idea is to not make a connection between progress and time. Whatever makes you think that after a certain amount of hours you should have achieved this and that is bad. People say don't take note of hours because it makes you want to look at how your progress is going compared to others. You can track how many hours you have been forcing or working on your tulpa in general but if you compare this to progress in any way you are telling yourself you are expecting things to happen at certain hour marks. You need to just beleave in your tulpa and try to communicate with it as much as you can. The more you want to beleave, the faster your tulpa will grow.

"Ugh 30 hours and still no signs, stupid tulpa"

These thoughts are the ones you need to avoid at all costs.

"No signs of sentience today, ohh wel at least that makes your first words that much more special when you I finally do hear you"

These thoughts are the ones you need to have. It's all a mindgame after all.

I use the stop-watch function on my phone, you should do that instead of countdowns. I only count the time when I sit down and force, and when I narrate from books. My personal reason is for funsies, I don't expect anything at all from the hours or the like. The counting in itself is harmless, but if one becomes obsessed over the time-counting, I'd advise to stop immediately as such mindset can be very poisonous for both the host and the tulpa.

if your going to count hours or the time you spend with your tulpa then you rather do it to your advantage. for example

"I won't stop until I spend at least three hours with her"

and checking your progress logs helps insure you that progress have indeed been made. and really helps out in times of self-doubt.

now. if you want to see a case of "hour counting gone terribly wrong" look no further than winter. poor man counted over 200 hours 5 months and never even goten a vocal tulpa.

It was active forcing, it's very sad that there are cases like his. He would have made it if he had kept going but, alas some people do not have the patience or time/stop caring; and as much as it pains me to say this, not all tulpas get done. i need not go into details what happens when you abandon a young tulpa.

if you would read some of the suveys for tulpae you can know how scary it must have been for them to be at their very early stages. The longer they get ignored the more they fall back into this state. It's very scary and Lyra and Tessa we're hanging on me to not forget them ever when I read that. I'm glad I can say I don't have ANY intentions of doing so EVER.

what you just said pretty much agreed with what i just said.

maybe am getting confused.

Anyways am very aware of what happens to a tulpa when they dissipate or fall back to the early stages.

i made a thread about it awhile back link.
