ThatOneGuy May 30, 2012 May 30, 2012 Anyone can make one, but having good focus and such does indeed make the process easier, to an extent. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
G|d30n May 30, 2012 May 30, 2012 These are all abilities that can be honed, mostly through meditation, so anyone can make a tulpa. You might have trouble making a tulpa if you can't focus or visualize, but that just means you need to meditate a bit and improving your focusing and visualization skills. This. You can sharpen your mind and you can nurture your imagination. Patience can be developed with time and discipline also. I think pretty much anyone, if they can use these abilities and have the patience, can do it. What if someone is in a coma, or they have that one form of amnesia where they can't remember anything after a certain point? Oh, well, I guess you found the loophole. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
Ganathon September 4, 2012 September 4, 2012 I think that if somebody 100% believes that a figment of one's imagination can't and will not truly be alive like another human being, then they can't do it. It's something I had to fight. Luna Female Just gave up some hours at work. I need to have some relaxing time, and she needs the tulpaforcing.
Captain Nemo September 4, 2012 September 4, 2012 Can a bear shit in the woods? Not if its pooper's clogged. As far as we know, yes, anybody can make a tulpa, as people have said. You do need dedication, but as long you stick with it, anybody can get there eventually.
Knapp September 4, 2012 September 4, 2012 Yes, anyone can make a tulpa, but that doesn't mean that anybody should. SSaint September 4, 2012 September 4, 2012 Prerequisites: Improved Meditation, and at least 8 ranks in Knowledge(Anatomy). “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
Phi September 4, 2012 September 4, 2012 No, not everybody can make a tulpa. People with an IQ below 70 would find it either impossible or extremely difficult and [ridiculously] time consuming. People with damage to certain parts of the brain, like the hippocampus or probably the pineal gland. People in a coma do not dream, so any argument for them being able to make a tulpa are null. People who are unable to believe something that they can't see or hear will suffer. Most people can make a tulpa, though.
Virgil September 5, 2012 September 5, 2012 People in a coma do not dream, so any argument for them being able to make a tulpa are null. Huh? Aren't comatose people, uh, unconscious? I pretty sure you have to be awake to be able to make a tulpa. And how is dreaming related? Bayesian inference

Hold on let me go to my uncle's grave and tell him about tulpae, see if we can test this. no
