ThatOneGuy June 1, 2012 June 1, 2012 It's sort of like making the energetic casing/form that a tulpa has, and giving it limited sentience/abilities. They have no personality, usually, but they can be incredibly useful and can be imposed like tulpae can. Making one is something you should probably ask Glitchthe3rd about. I don't feel comfortable releasing guides on it. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

So basically do it like a tulpa does, but don't do any personality stages, don't sense share and just have you parrot it sufficiently, consciously or not. Any risks it would become a tulpa if one narrates sufficiently purposefully to it?
ThatOneGuy June 1, 2012 June 1, 2012 There's a possibility, yes. Once again, glitch is the most knowledgeable about servitors around here. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Lulu June 1, 2012 June 1, 2012 I want someone to love. Also I'm a lazy ass, so having someone to bitch at me would be nice. (I deleted my older post)
Spark June 2, 2012 June 2, 2012 Science! Plus, I'd love to have a life-long partner. I'm actually really social, but a Tulpa sounds amazing! All I hope, is that it is happy with its eventual life. We as hosts are playing god here; I really don't want to fuck up.
TulpaCouple June 2, 2012 June 2, 2012 Been studying hypnosis and the power of the mind for years. Interested in really seeing the power the mind has. The idea of a very personal connection with a being is lovely, I love the idea of us each influencing the other to grow and improve constantly.
Flower June 2, 2012 June 2, 2012 I want someone to love. I can love you! I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.
Quaade June 2, 2012 June 2, 2012 I've always had imaginary friends, i guess i just wanted someone to talk to, who can answer back. Don't get me wrong, i have friends, but i am not always around them. I saw some threads about tulpas on /mlp/, and while the idea of a pony certainly have struck me, it was the idea of a lifelong companion that made me want to make one.
BurningFox6 June 3, 2012 June 3, 2012 Haven't started a tulpa yet, but I'll be working on it soon. My reasons: 1. Companionship. A friend that'll be with you for life seems lovely. 2. A tulpas ability to bring up memories and help with studies/work seems useful. 3. Tulpas are fascinating in general. I feel that making one will help me get more in touch with my spiritual side. Having someone to encourage me about certain things is also nice.
