GuessWho February 20, 2013 February 20, 2013 I look forward to reading it. Until then, I'll just be trying to find my own way and see how far I get.
White Coyote February 20, 2013 February 20, 2013 It's been the third day since I started forcing wings on my self. Maybe for a split second, I can feel the whole, heavy weight of these things but most of the time, I don't feel them unless I try to. Unless I constantly think about the wing, it disappears and I totally forget about it for a quite a bit of time. A weird sensation has been developing though. My back is becoming more and more aware of the wing. It almost feels like it's starting to grow. I have no idea how this works though...
GuessWho February 20, 2013 February 20, 2013 ^ I'm trying with ears. Same situation. At this stage, I can only feel them when I think about them. I suppose it's the same as for tulpas in the beginning stages where we're only aware of them when we focus on them. I hope to get to the point where I'm always fully aware of both.
Allison the Tulpa February 21, 2013 February 21, 2013 Im making the tail as real as possible, and I keep imagining an itching at my tailbone, and it works if I concentrate. I would like to know how I should imagine the tail if I am sitting. Like, would my tailbone hurt or something? Just would like to know :) I will then, sometime when I have enough time to write it. It'll be my first guide, so I want it to be a good one. I would suggest work on the guide here and there, then when you finish read through it once or twice, make sure it makes sense, then copy the guide and paste it in the Guides section. That way, you don't take hours to work on it all at once. Or just write it at night, no distractions or anything. I look forward to the guide, I can't wait. And that's how I ended up in this padded cell PR
Riku Aotsuki February 21, 2013 Author February 21, 2013 Wow, when I started this thread, I had no idea there would be so much interest.

I'm not sure if that would be realistic, considering your brain 'silences' senses that are repetitive. For example, you probably weren't aware of the position of your feet until you read this. Or manual blinking. Im making the tail as real as possible, and I keep imagining an itching at my tailbone, and it works if I concentrate. Just would like to know :) Not really experienced in this kind of thing, but I imagine it would protrude backward from where you are facing. fennecfoxx February 21, 2013 February 21, 2013 Guys, this is just too tempting. I've been thinking about doing this since I first saw this thread. That's it, I'm giving myself kitty ears and a tail. I want to do this too. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past

Eheh I was going to give my self cat ears too, but It'd be way too uncomfortable for me so I just went with a wing 'cause they're cool.

Follow it mentally from the base of your skull all the way down to you tailbone, and keep going. A tail is an extension of the spine itself.
Jijonbreaker February 22, 2013 February 22, 2013 I so need to try this at some point... I might have to forego my plan to avoid imposition training just to try this.
