Yeah I dont recommend making something to do a stopping the heart experiment with lol (even if it could be done). What would the point be? If it worked you wouldnt be then able to share it with the rest of us.

Id be into trying to make something more powerful then a Tulpa with others at some time (thing is the others would have to have similar goals in ways to use it as me .. but I can think of some things I would love to have some kind of powerful thoughtform entity to try to use to experiment with eg create something above a Tulpa and try to use it to cure someones cancer or something).

We could name them phis. "My phi" really slips off the tongue, try it.

What about pronouns? I remember someone getting mad at me for referring to a tulpa of which I did not know the gender as "it". I think that "it" is perfectly acceptable, because it is possible for tulpas to be genderless. Also, they don't have an inherent gender like humans do. "It" works for tulpas when talking in the future sense, too. In other cases, normal "he" and "she" apply.

I actually really like that. Much better than forcing or forging. That one gets our stamp of approval. (My tulpa like it too)

Uhm, yes it's a lot better. Screw forging.

Then again, some guides say that you can "force" an object in your mindscape, but I use the word materialize.

To me, the word 'it' implies something subhuman or non-sentient. I don't think I could use it to describe a tulpa. It just feels wrong, to the extent that getting a tulpa's gender wrong feels much less wrong than using 'it.' (Did that make sense?) You wouldn't say "For someone [note that gender is indeterminate here] to achieve success, it must work hard," for example.

I understand why you may want to rename these things (creepypasta, sounds weird, metaphysical origin, etc.) but I feel it unnecessary to do so.

Tulpa and other terms have been used for nearly a year now the words regardless of their old meanings have adapted new ones through us.

There is also the issue of /mlp/ the place most of us came from. They have sometimes 2 threads a day on tulpas. I feel (>inb4 no one cares how you feel!) that changing the terms suddenly would just further seperate us from our origins and confuse those coming from /mlp/.
