bersinger November 7, 2013 November 7, 2013 Semantics, misusing language can be elevated to a modern art form or a political statement or merely a celebration of linguistic diversity - especially cases languages and slangs having inter-influence on each other, most likely the most harmless form of multiculturalism that exists. My suggested plurals are Tulpüplaes, Tupalutkat, Tulpat, Doubles, Sparking plugs, or Tülpler. Obviously whatever you fancy is fine too because this form of creativity is just as vulnerable to textbookism and stagnancy as anything else. tell the rapper what i'm gonna do with all this money
reguile December 8, 2013 December 8, 2013 Why not just use the translated version of the word, "construct(S)"?
Kiahdaj December 8, 2013 December 8, 2013 Well for one, it's not very specific. Anything can be a construct. It could be confusing if used that way. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Guest Anonymous December 25, 2013 December 25, 2013 A simple question that I wish to be answered. Although not important, but what makes some one a "tulpamancer"? Is it the simple fact that he/she can force a tulpa into existence? Or is it that one is fully fledged, having full knowledge and all the best experience pertaining to tulpas?
Nobillis December 25, 2013 December 25, 2013 A simple question that I wish to be answered. Although not important, but what makes some one a "tulpamancer"? Is it the simple fact that he/she can force a tulpa into existence? Or is it that one is fully fledged, having full knowledge and all the best experience pertaining to tulpas? Thread merged with previous thread. "Tulpamancer" was a somewhat "tongue in cheek" description for anyone who makes a tulpa (as best as I understand it). Some people prefer it for the slightly elitist sound of the term, but my self I prefer to say "tulpa maker". As far as "fully fledged, having full knowledge and all the best experience pertaining to tulpas" you would be hard pressed to find someone outside Tibet who would qualify. Kevin's been doing this more then 30 years and he wouldn't consider his abilities "fully fledged" (frankly, he's still near 'deaf' when it comes to hearing tulpas). We are all learning still. Guest Anonymous December 25, 2013 December 25, 2013 Thank you, Nobillis. This answered my question. :D
Nobillis December 26, 2013 December 26, 2013 Terminology is "Tarupa" in Japan. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
Kaz with a K December 26, 2013 December 26, 2013 Terminology is "Tarupa" in Japan. The little part of me that hoped nobody would ever mention "Tarupa" again has been decimated Well, my thoughts on this is that since Tulpa isn't a Latin word, we shouldn't give it a Latin ending. So, no more Tulpae Or am I missing something... Tulpa: Adryan Form: Anthro wolf-ish Stage: *sighs loudly* Age: Looks 17, is actually 1 1/2 “Human beings can always be relied on to assert, with vigor, their god-given right to be stupid” -Dean Koontz “In the end, I worry that my arrogance shall destroy us all” -Brandon Sanderson
