Ello,  My name is Zyglotop (Or Zycrash,  Zytrax,...  The list goes on and on) and I've just recently been told by a friend about tulpas,  which lead to the revelation that I maybe created a tulpa unintentionally. Atm I'm desperately trying to get a clear response from my tulpa,  problem is that I'm very uncertain if he/she/it really exists,  and whenever I think I hear the tulpa say something I immediately jump to the conclusion that I'm parroting. I hope this forum can help me get clearance and can forgive my crude english ^^'

Hello, I am new to tulpamancy i just made my first tulpa last wednesday and summoned it yesterday now i dunno where it is and how to call it back i guess its a newbie thing. I hope to learn more on tulpas.

Hello there, 

I'm Sunflower, and my tulpa's name is Harley. We just joined and are slowly figuring things out. 

 

I'd had Harley as a sort of character idea in my head originally, almost like an alter-ego but not quite, and we've only just begun the whole process. 

 

I'd heard of someone making a "sentient person" inside their head before, though the friend's "alternate" wasn't sure how he was created, and my "host" friend kinda went dormant. So we didn't know much. It's been a while since then. Then my BF mentioned tulpas to me, and I started my research. It sounded incredibly like what my friend and I had talked about. I'm getting my research put together before I mention this to him when I next see him. I really think this is the answer he's been looking for. 

 

And after a few weeks of research I decided I wanted to make Harley into a tulpa. First reason being I wanted to see if I could further check if this was similar to my friends' situation. Also I wanted to have someone to talk to honestly and openly, to be friends with. So our quest began.

So far things have been going okay, though trying to talk with Harley is sometimes hard because I'll accidentally push my thoughts on her (not forcing, but I think and then assume it's her speaking to me). Once we get conversing regularly down better I'm hoping to start possession or switching so Harley can experience things as well. She's curious, and she wants to try interacting with other people. 

 

Also, I'm new to forums of any kind, and Harley's young and inexperienced with most things, so I'm still trying to figure out etiquette, or how posts work. I've seen some that are kind of like a blog on a tulpa/host pair's progress so that's what this post is I guess.

 

That's pretty much the gist of where we're at. More to come as we progress!

Though, your friend may be more interested in one of the other plural communities, as he was created unintentionally.

I haven't come across the term Plural in my research until today. What's the difference between the tulpa and plural community? Intent? And he has a theory that he wasn't unintentional per se but he isn't sure as his host, our friend, is hiding that information.

So how much was intentional and how much wasn't is unclear at the moment.

Intent is the short version. But the differences are not really that simple.

 

The other community I know the most about is the Dissociative Identity Disorder community, mostly by reputation. But the Healthy Multiplicity Community, built on a reinterpretation of plurality in non-pathologized terms, is where I got all my information. There's an older, more general hearing voices movement, but I know far less about them.

Good to hear. Also always interesting to hear people who've had ~tulpas without influence from the tulpa communities. That was us for 4 years too.
