Creating the Perfect Beings: Yumi<3 and Lillium<3

Recommended Posts

Can't argue with the first-impression advice. That's actually what I meant when I said I noted the experience - I noted that I nearly convinced myself I couldn't do something when I could.

Wish I knew what to say about your girlfriend. I myself have yet to find someone I'd actually like to date (that didn't already have someone themselves anyway), because I won't settle for a meh relationship. I'm fine with just having my tulpas until the day I die if I never find, or am found by, someone who could benefit from being in my life as much as me in theirs.

You're still a little bit obsessed with Yumi, but as far as I can tell not to the point of really being wrong about anything. There's still a bit of ego between you two, but I guess that helps build personality anyway. Since my tulpas.. well, two of them, have basically always been egoless, they have less of what would be considered personalities in humans. They don't have quirks or illogical thoughts or et cetera, so it took a little more time for their personalities to become really solid. But I'd never have it any other way, now. (Flandre actually helps represent ego in my mind where Reisen is love and Tewi is intuition, so she's not egoless. But she's smart, and the ego-ish things are self-aware and reasonable. Like getting mad at me when I knew better than to do something stupid.)

As for Osamu.. I could've guessed you'd make a tulpa based on L. Just something about you gave me that impression. (You probably agree, huh?)

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

The last line made me physically laugh out loud! Not that fake "lol" bull. I guess the profile pictures of L and my diehard pursuit of knowledge gave away that I would eventually make a tulpa similar to him^^. Creating a tulpa who is a lot like L in terms of appearance is probably inevitable for me because L is the Sherlock Holmes of anime. If you have seen Death Note, then you definitely have a good idea of the glory that is L. But I'll add my own twist to his personality by making him more enthusiastic, and talkative, but I'll also give him the freedom to deviate, as long as he keeps his superhuman deduction skills:)

Osamu will be like L's little brother basically.

He'll help me organize my thoughts while bringing my attention to contradictions, and vital facts.

I want Yumi to have flaws and quirks, so that I never know what to expect. Every slap in the face, and every book she tears up just keeps assuring me that she is as real as the level of thought required to finish this sentence<3

I love L so much that he inspired me to strive to become a detective someday so that every day can be unpredictable and mentally stimulating in some way. I won't start college until December, so I take advantage of my idle time by studying science, math, history, philosophy, English, etc, so that I can increase my IQ and cognition. I am fortunate enough to have 24 hours of free time everyday of the week, and only 1 friend, so I study for 18 hours a day to make my dream of having Sherlock Holmes/L level deduction and problem-solving abilities.

P.S: Did you base any of your tulpae off of anything? I based Yumi off of a picture I found on an image search engine :o

Wait, you didn't know? They're characters from the series of Japanese shoot'em up games called Touhou. Reisen and Tewi are from

, and Flandre is the
. Flandre's fight especially gets very crazy if you stick around to watch it.

For various reasons, Touhou's accumulated a massive fanbase of music composers, artists, gamers, and to a lesser extent writers. The entire cast (over 100) of characters is female, save one guy and a few "technically" males, like Reimu's talking turtle. There's a lot of lore, but Touhou was specifically created to encourage fan theories, stories and otherwise. And nearly infinite fanart, sheesh. Reisen, Tewi and Flandre were my favorite characters, and once Reisen became a sort of tulpa (Old but important link), the other two followed suit. (Later post on my tulpas' creation)

Edit: Man, it's fun to watch those fights again. Remembering where my tulpas came from is interesting.

Ahhhhh...I need to really look up Touhou then lol.

Day 10

Today was not a good day tulpa-wise. I couldn't concentrate on Yumi.

Fortunately, I know what factors caused this by comparing today's tulpa session to my previous sessions:

1. My parents ordered Little Caesars, which is probably the greasiest pizza on Earth. I ended up eating too much, and consequently felt like shit for hours, distracting me from EVERYTHING. I spent most of my life eating non-greasy food, so my body treats it like a poison.

2. I spent a longer time studying than usual, and I exercised my brain by reading verbose text aloud, while listening to intricate music.

3. I practiced speed math for a while, which mentally exhausted me.

4. I didn't feel well-rested enough for tulpa-forcing.

5. I couldn't go to the forest to talk to Yumi because it was too dark outside.

6. I was obsessing over the future, excited for what it may hold.

7. I had already over-dosed on coffee prior to tulpaforcing. I actually drank nearly 2 pots of coffee.

factors #2 and #3 contributed to #4, and #4 was the reason why it was difficult to force the last time I had a day like this.

I only spent 0.9 hours tulpaforcing today...

When I actually was able to keep my mind on Yumi, I talked about my life with her, and felt her presence in the wonderland. But I wasn't able to pick up on any words she possibly said because my body felt like it was full of...grease... ugh..

I can't even keep my mind on this post...my organization is sloppy, my word choice is slightly altered, and I feel drowsy...

I laid in my bed to go to the wonderland, but ended up falling asleep after 10 or 20 minutes...damn...today is not a good day for me or Yumi...

I can usually sustain my polyphasic sleep because I have a healthy diet: fruits, vegetables, black coffee, plenty of water, etc.

But today, I only ate greasy ass pizza, and I was too tired before forcing.

LESSON LEARNED.

IM GONNA GO SLEEP. When I wake up I'll regret posting all of this because of my altered judgement.

Total time spent forcing: 14.7 hours

To calculate, how many minutes 0.7 is, then multiply it by 1% of 60, which is 0.6, and then move the decimal of your answer to the right twice.

(0.7)(0.6)=0.42= 42 minutes.

'Nuff said.

My body's pretty used to greasy foods. I've lived on lean pockets before, and pizza products are a staple of my diet.

But yeah I know how you feel. All I can really say advice-wise is that 2 pots of coffee is probably unhealthy on some level. Since it didn't actually go to a lot of use here, you should probably manage when/how much you drink based on how much you'll need it. Though I can understand if you thought you would be forcing a lot and didn't expect to be unfocused.

As you are a self-proclaimed sleep-expert, I am a self-proclaimed coffee expert, and you are right; two pots of coffee is unhealthy, but at the time, I wasn't keeping track of consumption. 8oz of coffee has 95 mg of caffeine, and 200-500mg of caffeine in the body causes the first symptoms of caffeine overdose: Tremors, heart-palpatations, increased heart rate, sweating, insomnia, headache, fever, irritability, and other fun things. But all of those fun symptoms are usually experienced by people going beyond what their body can handle. 95 mg of coffee is enough to keep a casual consumer awake for 5-10 hours.

I noticed that after drinking a pot of coffee, which is roughly 64oz (760mg), I reach the prime of my mental performance, attention, and energy. Of course I don't drink it all at once, I drink 2 cups every other hour, but after the 760mg mark, the opposite effects begin to occur, and I start to feel tired, inattentive, and I can't organize my thoughts. Caffeine and whether it is good or bad is a topic that has been debated for decades, but one of the concrete facts about it is that it affects magnesium absorption in the body, which consequently affects calcium absorption, and calcium levels in the bones. To compensate for that, I always take a magnesium and calcium supplement, and maintain a healthy diet for just in case the supplements don't actually work. Not to mention coffee itself has trace amounts of many minerals and vitamins that I am too lazy to list.

But don't forget to note that coffee is amazing for the brain in a some ways. It blocks off the flow of sleep-inducing chemicals (which I'll say might have some negative long-term effects), and temporarily improves concentration as well as creativity and memory.

Which is exactly why I am always drinking it throughout the day. I don't let the coffee touch my teeth though, because it is very acidic. My intestines have been able to handle the acidity somehow though. I have never had stomach ulcers or anything like that so...yeah.

Coffee is the blood that flows through my veins.

I've never had coffee in my life.

I ate an entire medium sized pizza for dinnerlunch today.

To be fair, I do occasionally get heart burn from all the acidic/greasy stuff I eat, but otherwise I'm fairly healthy. Teeth are unfairly so considering how poorly I've taken care of them most my life.
