I just started visualization my tulpa, and its looks like me except, he has different color and hair style, and his eyes are purple.

Is that to similar to me, or will it be fine?

It's up to you, literally. If you can not associate them with yourself it'll be fine. If you can't get over it you won't.

Shouldn't be that hard though, in my opinion.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Depends on the tulpa. If they are able to change their appearance at will, then let them do that if they want to go for something else. If changing appearances is not something either of you can do, it may or may not cause a problem. It need not do so. Remember, a lot of tulpas have appearances based off of various fictional characters without problems. Just make sure he knows that he is his own person, regardless of who he looks like.

Yeah, much in line with what others have said, I think your tulpa should be fine so long as he can differentiate himself from you. Here's a thought: what is his personality like? Is it similar to yours? Or vastly different?

I ask this because I have two tulpas, Pinky and Sunray, who are extremely similar in appearance but almost polar opposites in terms of personality. Therefore, it really doesn't matter much that they look so similar; they never have any problems feeling like different people. They're so different, in fact, that Pinky hates when I try to use the word "twins" to describe them because she feels like Sunray is so different from her, that they can't even be related. XD

That got a little bit off-topic, but I think you get the idea. Appearance probably doesn't matter nearly as much as personality where identity is concerned. I mean, do identical twins often suffer identity problems like you're describing? I really don't know. I for one have never heard anything about identical twins having that sort of problem, but just because I've never heard of it doesn't mean it never happens. Maybe it's worth researching?

Pinky is not a pony. She's an imp.

Sunray is an angel-imp. Ex is humanoid. Kael is a dragon. Magnum is a dog.
