So, I started forcing Chaia 4th January 2015 and I do active and passive Forcing every day. Started with a greeting, then moved to personality. And I did the traits. It took me about 15-30 minutes each trait (I don't count time/hrs since I think it's contralroducitve)

Well I spend tons of time reading guides etc before going to forcing by myself, and I know the active passive Narration, puppeting parroting things. But the tricky thing I don't get is, when I am forcing, let's say I meditate and I am calm now and ready to start. Then I am just talking to her/narrating right? What I mean is what do I really do while forcing. I mean I can't spend x hrs just talking about the same 10 traits over and over again. And also I feel like normal talking/usual conversation belongs more to passive Forcing.. So, even if it sounds odd and weird, and you probably think 'WTH', What would you say I can do while active forcing? Is there something I can really do? What are you doing while active forcing?

Thank you very much for reading this.

Cheers, Eden

1) I know, 10 was just an example, I have in real about 20 too. I want her to develop her own personality trough experiences.

2) This is kinda nice idea thanks!

3) Unfortunately not, because if she could, I wouldn't ask^^ and also I just started, and I don't really expect her to talk after like 3 days, even if I got some signals already.

Being a conversationalist with your tulpas is an ongoing learning curve that will get easier over time. If you reference things you've done before in your life, and can discuss it like a narrative to them, there shouldn't be much limitation on what you should say to them. It's just a matter of being aware of what's going on in your life, and being reflective about it, and going through implications that all of that effort you're putting is directed towards the determined thought with subsequent actions that your tulpa can become real to you in your own subjective experience.

You could also visualize some kind of adventure you'll be going with them, and just analyzing and experiencing what goes on. For a way on doing that, try reading this if you ever have the time:

I don't really ask what I should do while forcing; I just let my mind take care of that while I think of themes, words, etc. to derive from to experience things with them.

Thanks for your reply.

Well tbh I know what to do while Forcing, or what to talk about, I can improvise. I think I was just confused and read something about sitting still and focusing on something. I kinda confound everything.

Anyways thanks :)

The difference is that I didn't plan out this story. It was just typing what went on in my head spontaneously via image streaming (made a guide here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1guub6JF0OGVheUPzddtMyZKHqnrcnuWLYufwGhc3Fmc/edit?pli=1 ). And even if this was some elaborate story I planned in advance, this would technically be narration either way, especially if the content was directed to the tulpas. But I don't think I would go through such efforts to plan 35 pages, and type it all over again.

It's more fun when things come at you, and you have to reign in your center to collect all of the information that's going on.

About this "traits" thing . . . who says it's better to have twenty? That's not an official . . . anything. There are many people who give tulpa two or three traits to start out with and let them deviate as they wish. Many believe it's better to let them do what they want with their personality and rarely ever interfere. If ten traits is all you want, then stick with ten traits. Chaia'll take away, add, or replace them as they will. So long as you don't try to stop your tulpa from deviating you're fine. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

Anyway, there's not much I can add to what Linkzelda's already said. If you can remember that passive forcing usually equals "talking normally" and active forcing equals "talking seriously" (or, better yet, telling the tulpa stories and things about your life or what the two of you will do together . . . that's what I'll be doing, anyway), then you should be fine.

James: Hello, all!

Personally, I think you should set a few basic traits, but past that is up to you. Less if you want your Tulpa to deviate and choose his/her own personality, more if you don't.

game is hard
