Brassow May 13, 2015 Share May 13, 2015 Sorry about short posts! I just dislike making giant textwalls, they're a pain for me to read and I don't want to put others through my struggle. I don't post too often because I'm a high school student and... FINALS!!! *DUN DUN DUUUUUN* Notice how I eventually voted to kill the one I wanted to befriend. He could've been living in my bakery, but simply ignored my friendship (and scales). That earned him my vote. So yeah. There's that. ____________________________________________________ https://web.archive.org/web/20150513201441/https://community.tulpa.info/thread-mafia-ii-ponyville-in-danger?pid=125520 Brassow: Anyone want cake? He could've been living in my bakery, but simply ignored my friendship (and scales). That earned him my vote. So yeah. There's that. The thing is, you only voted for Quetzal after he had at least 3 votes. The writing was on the seawall as the tide was coming in. You didn't expound on your reasoning or offer any new insights. The most probable reason for your vote was to keep your credibility, or to establish some. (Yes, I only voted after 5 other votes, as I wanted to see who said what before I entered the fray. This isn't conclusive evidence against Brassow, just circumstantial.) As for Quetzal ignoring you, that only makes me more suspicious. Quetzal has, in fact, been completely silent on everything you have to say. As the spotlight is currently on him, this could be because he doesn't want to draw any attention to you as a possible reptilian compatriot. (Are dragons reptiles? I don't think fluffy dragons are reptiles at least.) I'm not saying you're definitely a changeling. I'm saying it's very, very suspicious. Cogito ergo cogito. Brassow May 13, 2015 Share May 13, 2015 I assure you it wasn't me, I'm busy baking cakes and various other pastries. (Refer to my edited AND ARCHIVED post) Enjoy my cake, jean. It might be the last one I make because of the accusations. If you didn't notice, I did try to buddy up with Laach last game (Even though I was innocent and he was a kia). It's a tendency to try and get alliances going for me. If you wanna turn me into a garden statue over it, then so be it. Ripperoni in Pepperoni. Muffin May 13, 2015 Share May 13, 2015 Okay, wow. I've only been quiet lately because I've been away. I'm generally a person of few words, anyway. And as for the same mistake as Quetzal, it was merely a coincidence. Even if we were the changelings, it still would've been a coincidence. I honestly don't know who to vote at the moment, too tired to think after today. ##abstain Tulpas: Melody - Creation Date: October 21st, 2014 Pumpkin - Creation Date: January 2015 my mastodon - my other mastodon We're gonna try to post more often, but you know, no promises or whatever. Yuki May 13, 2015 Share May 13, 2015 I have done little suspect, I think, Laach. I suppose we will find out in time. Let me talk about a couple things in this post. Quetzal will die today unless something drastic happens. We'll get some information out of that: If he's innocent, Laach's suspicion will have been unfounded. The logical next step might be to kill Laach, then, but you might want to consider that he wouldn't be so overt about murdering someone out of the blue if he were changeling, to not draw much attention to himself. I personally think that whether he's changeling or not, he would act the same way in this case, so I'm not quite sure what to think. Jean-luc, your claim is interesting. What did you do to make the changelings want to kill you, and what made the doctor choose to protect you? We really need the cop to come out, and the doctor to protect them tonight. We can only really have any certainty to our actions after that. I personally don't really suspect anyone specifically at this point. Any of the quieter people could be it, and otherwise, well, there's a million ways to play this game. I wonder what will come out of tonight. Feel free to ask me anything. Suffering is self-imposed. Don't let it control you.
Kiahdaj May 13, 2015 Share May 13, 2015 My guess is simply that Jean-luc was one of the two most active ponies, and Laach would have been too obvious to kill (and might be a changeling himself). Since the changelings didn't know who the protector or detective were, it only makes sense to attack the one who was being active in trying to put things together. Jean-luc seemed to be the most suspicious of Quetzal and Laach (if I remember correctly), so that again makes sense as to why they would attack him. And further paints Quetzal as one of the changelings, maybe. If I'm not remembering who Jean-luc was the most suspicious of, please correct me. I think it's very relevant, if he was indeed attacked last night. The problem with the detective coming out right now is that he's only had one night to identify someone. If he chose to investigate someone who was not one of the changelings (and especially if they chose someone of no real relevance right now), then they don't know much more than the rest of us, and it wouldn't be worth coming out over. At that point, the protector would have to defend the detective indefinitely, and at any point, the changelings could choose to start attacking other people. The protector would have no idea on any given night whether to protect the detective, or someone else. If the detective doesn't come out, then the protector will continue to protect the person who seems the most at risk of being attacked, rather than having to worry even more about multiple people. That all said, if the detective does have some useful information, then it may be beneficial for them to say it. But maybe the fact that they haven't said anything means that either A. they don't have enough information for it to be relevant, or B. we are already on the right track. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Laach May 14, 2015 Share May 14, 2015 You underestimate me Kiahdaj. I wouldn't risk looking guilty by murdering something so closely connected to me. Especially if they're suspicious of me. Last game, the only person noticeably suspicious of me was Yuki. Before Yuki had started talking, I considered killing her first because I knew she'd be the most logical person throughout that whole session. However, once she accused me, I knew I wouldn't be able to do that without drawing all attention towards me. And so I killed the second person she accused, which resulted in her losing all suspicion of me. I kill to remove suspicion, not potential threats. I also fear that I may be overestimating Yuki in this game. Sure, she's smart, but I fear my supposed reasons for accusing her may be over her level of expertise. Upon saying that, I still don't want to take Yuki off of my prime suspect list, but at least I'm reconsidering. Join Mafia II: Ponyville in Danger, the forum game of intrigue and deduction! Quetzal the furdragon May 14, 2015 Share May 14, 2015 Okay, fine. You know what? Kill me. I give up. Yes, you're right. I'm a changeling, I confess, because at this point I see no way I can save myself. At all. So I might as well give up. Gg guys, you found one of your bad guys I ain't even mad though, because since I am a pastafarian, a beer volcano and stripper factory will be awaiting me in the afterlife I do have one question though, I really don't understand how all of this suspicion was drawn on me. Literally ALL of the evidence against me was irrelevant, I shit you not, I would've done the EXACT SAME GODDAMN THING if I was a pony too. All of it, all of Laach's original points, and adamantly defending myself like this too, nothing would've changed. So...why the suspicion? I blame it on luck, honestly, if I was a pony I would've done the same thing Good luck finding my partner in crime. And since you found your man and I confess, and there's nothing else to discuss, I vote to ##hammer
