Hello, welcome to the Empty Wallet Club. I also have work to do though, and buying it before I get it done would keep me from it. That means at least a month before I get it.

..But I also need money for Fallout DLCs.. *sighs* God damn it.

Ehh, dark souls 1 was my JAM, but the changes dark souls two made were no bueno, imo. I'm gonna wait out dark souls 3 until more content shows up and I can decided whether or not it's worthy.

Overwatch, on the other hand, has my attention.

Moba-esque fast paced first person shooter with parkour?

I think yes.

I have a friend who's a fanatic of the first game, and I am as well, honestly, and he seems to like it much more than 2. From what I've seen, it looks like One and Bloodborne got mixed together. Pretty alien, but people dig it.

SomethingDire, yeah, I still need to pick those up as well. Computer runs it like shite right now, though, partly sucky parts, partly Bethesda being the most incompetent devs ever when it comes to optimization (among other things). I'll probably just pick it up again once all of the DLC is out, or whatever.

As someone who doesn't play either, DS3 is way more interesting to me than Fallout 4. One of these games had its steam page initially full of negative reviews, while the other was full of positive ones.

A review of Fallout 4 with 9,600/13,000 "Helpful" ratings:

And after seeing both, I can vouch this is definitely true for NV and 4 at least. Meanwhile I'm watching a playthrough of DS3 and enjoying it a lot. I also greatly enjoyed watching Bloodborne though, and DS2 PVP was fun to watch people stream. Still have no intention of playing any of them though.

Yep, and it's the best kind of alien ever. I only want it more now, geez.

..Fallout will continue being Fallout, eh? But it runs pretty smoothly on PS4, it's only crashed twice on me. That's a big development from what F:NV was on my PS3.

Maybe they'll release a season pass this time. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.

EDIT: >tfw ninjad

@Lumi

I am crying. Oh, dear lord. *wipes tears*

That's kinda true, but.. Each to their own, I guess.

Btw, Fallout 4 is more like this:

Yes

Tell me more about this baby

Sarcastic

Not my business

Pretty sure there's an FO4 Season pass, though the price has increased since launch.

And Lumi, yeah. Definitely not the greatest reviews. I don't hate Fallout 4 like a lot of people do, but I'm nowhere near as into it as I am New Vegas, or the first two. Will see how it compares after it's all patched up, with DLC, though.

I've been following a couple different resources on DS3 as well, and am fairly eager to drop money on it. Finally moved in somewhere with actual internet, so this will be my first experience with the online aspect, as well. Pretty stoked. Wanna go back and experience 1 that way, at some point.

Not your type of game , though? Or just too afraid to get your shit wrecked? If the latter, it's all experience, and your shit will be mostly un-wrecked by the end of your first run. Dark Souls 1 is the only game I've ever personally played that I could actually see myself tangibly improving at, the more I played. I spent like, 40 hours making it halfway through on my first run, and though I'm no speedrunner, by any stretch, I can clear the game in a couple hours now.

Now, if only I'd spent all of that time doing something productive, huh..

Not gonna lie, haven't checked what's been going down lately. The price has been increased, huh? Sad, but not surprising. My fault for not keeping up with things.

Yeah, FO 4 was.. Well, bad with lots of things. The plot didn't strike to me as anything special, the newly introduced groups felt cliché-fied, and the voicing part also didn't live up to the hype. The quests you could pick up by yourself were good, and the little discoveries you made, like finding out the Lonely Chapel and the Federal Nation Stockpile were connected, were fun as hell, and so was the modding/ being able to use a Power Armor, but the rest..? ..Nah, not so much. I'm still not mad at anyone, though. I have a big soft spot for the series, and I believe they'll better it with the next one. And the DLCs will also help, hopefully.

I have little experience with DS and that type of games, though. Bloodborne had me screaming in front of my screen, but I loved it. Looking forward to get further into that type of stuff with DS3.

Huh? You insult me sir. I've been playing video games since I was three. I'm not interested in those types of games and never gave them a second thought, but at some point the Late Night streams Cry and Russ do introduced me to watching dark souls PVP and it was pretty fun, because they were involved. Later I watched the Game Grumps play Bloodborne and liked the fighting mechanics. Now they're playing DS3 and it's basically Bloodborne in a dark souls environment so I like that too. But I still don't care to actually play the games.

I play Touhou for one thing, and almost any game I play on the hardest (reasonable) difficulty. Heck, I was the only person who exclusively played in the Lunatic Survival world on the Touhoucraft Minecraft server, where life is pain. Don't ye doubt me.

I'd really recommend checking out the first title, SomethingDire. Even if 3 is better in every way, 1 is fantastic.

Lumi, you're saying all of these things, and I think I know what you're saying, but all I can hear is "Filthy fucking casual"

Weird :^)

Dark Souls being hard is a joke, unless you're talking about PVP. At least to non-casuals who know what hard is anyways, since it's pretty popular to call the DS series "really hard games". Their difficulty is sensationalized. Have a look at the game Reisen and Tewi came from:

(This is my favorite boss fight in any game ever. It gives me goosebumps every time, so I highly recommend watching the

as opposed to the timestamp if you've got the time)
