Brassow February 18, 2016 February 18, 2016 I agree with Jean-Luc, there didn't really seem to be anything new or fresh from the video. I'd much rather have a mech suit anyway. "Try to get a better understanding of things before making your judgement." -Khan, Metro 2033
Luminesce February 18, 2016 February 18, 2016 I don't understand what either of you are talking about. The video was quick and interesting, and the woman speaking seemed pretty into her work. That's good enough for me. The actual technology was pretty cool, too. If you're the type that only has interest in flashy "THE FUTURE IS HERE" stuff, go look at Hololens demonstrations. It's all real. The catch is that they can't figure out how to make the FoV much bigger, so the effect is only inside the typical glasses FoV and is bad for immersion. Hi! Guest February 20, 2016 February 20, 2016 I'd battle Japan with a mech suit. Soon... Giant robots are pretty cool. I talked about getting into Gunpla many posts ago, and still intend to in full-force. Got one non-grade one that I built in a couple hours, and had a blast. Still want a perfect-grade. Maybe the Unicorn Gundam with the full, extra $100 LED-rig. Thing is expensive af.
Sock February 24, 2016 February 24, 2016 I used to be pretty big in to giant robot shows, and I still have a heart for a few of them. But I tend to have a giddy, joyous reaction about robots in general, really. I still feel a rise in my heart about Asimos. Sock Cottonwell's Sketchbook, Journal, and Ask thread. Peace

Guest March 18, 2016 March 18, 2016 So over the past year or so, I've somehow conditioned my mind and body to cease hiccupping by saying or thinking "No more of that" after the first one. Obviously can't totally suppress them unless I'm thinking that constantly, but I haven't had consecutive hiccups since I began. It's pretty interesting. Anyone else have any quirks like that?
jean-luc March 18, 2016 March 18, 2016 HOOOOWWWWWW I wish I could just think away my hiccups. I'm the opposite, constantly battling my unconcious mind. For some reason about a year ago I started always feeling the need to pee whenever I was leaving to go somewhere. It's really annoying because it takes that extra bit of time and so I usually ignore it, but sometimes I do actually need to pee and it's all around just annoying. Guest March 18, 2016 March 18, 2016 HOOOOWWWWWW I kinda just thought one day, "Man, fuck this. No more hiccups" and started saying "No more of that" with a scowl, sternly shaking my head whenever they happened, and it stopped. It's like I'm in some deep state of hiccup-suggestibility or some shit. I'd try inducing them if I was brave enough, but my rep so far persuades me otherwise. Just fucking pee yourself. Show your body who's boss. Tell it "That's what you get for telling me I have to pee when I don't, nerd. Haha, pee-crotch, you've got pee on you, nerd" and then hang your head in shame and change. Do this enough times and you will (maybe) not have these issues anymore.
jean-luc March 18, 2016 March 18, 2016 After I wrote that I sortof realized it actually seems to be getting better, it doesn't happen when I leave for work in the mornings and generally seems to happen less. But I dunno, maybe I've just gotten used to it. Stats is back: https://stats.jean-luc.org/ My visits to tulpa.info are chaotic.
