Thatrandomnerd1 July 5, 2015 July 5, 2015 I learned about Tulpas only 2 days ago and have been doing research on it like crazy. (That's what led me here) I have a good grasp on the idea of Tulpas and how they are created. I know some of the basic things needed for a Tulpa (form, personality, etc.) I'm planning on doing more research but, I'm wondering how long after learning about the existence of Tulpas I should try to create one of my own. Also follow up question. I seen other posts about people making Tulpas solely for companionship. I have like two real life friends but, i don't see them that often. Do I need a reason to make a Tulpa? Thank you for your time. :)
Stevie July 5, 2015 July 5, 2015 No, you don't need a reason to make a tulpa, dude. A reason beyond companionship might help you stick with the creation process, but it's not like, necessary. Wait as long as you think you need to. I waited like two weeks between finding out about all this shit and actually starting, and that's just because I wanted to read everything and have a good handle on all the information before jumping into something that I didn't know much about from the get go. It depends on what you wanna do though, there's no magic amount of time that you should wait for. We're all gonna make it brah.
Guest July 5, 2015 July 5, 2015 While it's true that a large percentage of tulpae were created for companionship, that is not at all something you should be limited to. In other words, no, you don't need any real reason to create a tulpa. Like Stevie said, it might help with motivation, but it is in no way required. So don't worry about that ^^ As for how long you should wait, well... I suppose just start whenever you feel that you are ready to commit and have the information needed to begin the process *shrugs* I never really had to worry much about that though so don't just take my word for it. I had my tulpa before I even knew what a tulpa was so really all we can do now is just find the information that we need to advance to further stages such as possession, switching, ect.
