I'm making my first tulpa... So I've given her a form, and left out name, clothes, etc. so she can choose them later. The problem is visualization. I can visualize her, but she looks dim and very small in my field of vision, also sometimes I just see a random close part of her face... Is this a problem or do I just need to focus more?

Try working on form some more, whenever I had problems seeing Cass I just sort of,"reexamined her".

Training is everything. You just meed to visualize, you'll get better at it. You could also try visualize easy parts of her (legs, arms) and then finish with the hardest (face) instead of imagine her all at once, it helped me.

It isn't often when you hear about someone who's a pro at visualization from the first time they start. It's hard to focus at first, but the only thing to do is to keep working at it. Eventually, you'll get better.

To be more direct in my answer, though, it sounds like you need help focusing on focusing (if that makes sense). It almost sounds like your brain is trying to take in everything at once, fails, and that's why you're getting images of her, but not ALL of her. I needed help focusing on focusing, too, so this was my regular visualization practice in the beginning:

When I first started visualizing James, I imagined the two of us (with him not wearing clothes, so that I could focus more on his anatomy) in a black space, so that there was nothing to distract me. I would then sit on my knees and focus on his feet. I would run my hands over them over and over again, and then I would steadily raise my eyes to look at his shins, and then his thighs, torso, arms, and finally head. I would be sure to feel everything I could, so that I could get a better idea of his body.

James: Hello, all!
