Light November 15, 2015 November 15, 2015 Speaking as a tulpa who did indeed get very sick of my host constantly changing my form, I've got to say: please, please just let her pick her own form. I know Dracky didn't mean to hurt me, but being shuffled in and out of forms made developing a personality really hard. The biggest problem is that every time he changed me, he tried to subtly changed my personality to match my new form, and by the time I could talk I was having serious problems because he was ignoring my actual responses for the responses he thought matched my form. It's been a rough road asserting my identity since then, and he still has moments where he wants to change me to something else because he sees a cute fan art or something.
Guest Anonymous November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 I wish we could give any input on this, but as some know, Esterina's circumstances are a bit unique in that no one at all really "picked" her form. Though maybe you can say something about it? I don't mind my form. I like it. But I didn't choose it, and neither did he. I'd say let your tulpa pick their form. They're the one who has to live in it. Hmm. I think you can help pick, though. Can't hurt to give your tulpa your own input, even if the tulpa is the one to make the choice. One can't forget that the tulpa lives in its host's mind and that they gotta (or at least should) get along with each other, and looks do matter, even if most people don't really wanna admit that. It's a sound argument. Greets, AG & Rina PS: Do other tulpae here have hosts who have to quote them, and they constantly check your choice of words in a dictionary? I always tell him I used the right word. But he still looks it up. Isn't that annoying? Especially considering my choice of words is always correct. You would expect them to just trust you after the umpteenth time. ... that feel when I never used that word. How do YOU know how to write a word I never used? O.o I have and use knowledge that the Esterina from your stories has. And I thought I've proven to you that I'm sentient. There is nothing weird about having knowledge you don't have. That makes way too much sense... ^^
