Let's Discuss Video Games

For the sake of interesting discussion, I'll comment on that reflexes thing. Yes, I can play Osu! because Lumi is experienced at it. And I could probably push myself just as hard as him to do the hard songs, if I wanted... But I don't. The difference between us is that I don't handle the stress of harder maps as well, but I don't get as bored playing Easy maps I guess.

 

Tewi pointed out that I don't get as stressed/excited as they do far into songs holding a high combo. Apparently she played some song I played once a couple months ago, and despite all the practice since then she still broke where I did not. So I played a Marathon song and did a fair bit better than whoever played it before me. But I still can't really play the super fast ones (we have video proof of Tewi playing a very fast song pretty well, but I tried it and failed miserably). To put it simply, they're subject to choking and I'm not. But perhaps for the same reason, I can't play difficult songs very well.

I bought Pokemon Moon, was pretty fun, though I'm saving the postgame for when I travel to visit my mom over the holidays. I also upgraded to a better graphics card that supports PhysX FleX, now when I play Killing Floor 2 enemies are gore pinatas that squirt blood everywhere. Somehow it makes the game even more enjoyable.

Anyone here play Rainbow Six Siege? It's probably one of the best shooters out there right now.

 

I really like it because the destruction and operator abilities mean that matches never play out the same way, there's always something silly that happens.

lol this map, if you watch any of our videos it should probably.. not be just this one, you'll be extremely confused. Heck, you'll be confused no matter what. It doesn't lag at the start, that's just your mind trying to process what's going on! And the fact that it was recorded live because the map dies at the end...

Wow, I didn't even know that was pausible to make in osu. Why did you fail despite full combo?

well you can let go of sliders and not miss a beat on them, because they have little dots to signify beats and when you get +1 combo. You can put like a lot of beats or like none on a slider, and on that map they put nearly none, the ones they did they also put actual notes on at the same time so you're hitting a note and "holding" the slider while it hits the beat. Something like that!

 

as for why you fail out at the end, I have no idea, something about the map breaks the system. If you use No-Fail it just locks up at the end, it's kinda funny. Funnier, if you put on the Auto mod, it passes the map with like a 92% x3

Just watching some of those makes me look at my mouse hand and think 'you need to start pulling your weight. Look at that!'

 

The coordination is crazy! Loved watching them though ^^
