Dav: I'm a bit late getting around to replying, but I have a natural tulpa or an 'unintentional' tulpa as well. Solaria, my tulpa is 21 years old. She's been around since I was roughly 6 years old or so and is very sentient and although I never practiced nor knew of tulpamancy we don't have any of the neat tricks many people show here like switching or the like. However Solaria exhibits the ability to think creatively without my conscious effort and has her own opinions, responses, and thoughts about anything engaged with. I never know what she's going to say until it's said.

I wouldn't say what you have is a disorder as disorders have to be.. well.. a disorder. If a condition doesn't have a negative or life-threatening impact then it's not a disorder. Simple as that. As for abnormality, perhaps we're abnormal, but within the realm of typical human variance. Anybody who stands out from the crowd one way or another is a bit abnormal, but that makes life more interesting. 'Normal' is just an average boiled down from a large local population, not a statement of physical, social, or mental health.
