Hey, you tuppers out there!

 

Interesting question that sort of came up in a conversation, had to post about it here.

 

So then, it's simple:

Do you see yourself as human or not?

 

You certainly live in a human body, right?

But then again, maybe you have some reason to identify with a different species than humanity (like a form, or a "fictional past" like Esterina and soulbonds have)?

Or maybe you just don't associate yourself with your host's body at all?

In that case, as what do you see yourself then?

Yep, human. It's a soulbond thing: the character I'm sourced from is human, and I see myself as him, so therefore I'm human.

This body belongs to both of us. But mentally I am and always will be a witch. So I'm three quarters human, since the kind of witch I am is half human, half demon.

Actually we went with option 4, because it seems more fitting. It is rather a simple logical conclusion than a "feeling human" thing. (Honestly, how do you "feel" human?)

I know, but the concept is still blurry to me. :D It is a conclusion about the own nature based on blurry ideas about the identity of things (and the feelings regarding them).
