  1. 1. What's the correlation between your and your tulpa's emotions?

    • I notice a relatively strong positive correlation between our emotions—when I feel a certain way, my tulpa is quite likely to feel similarly.

    • I notice a relatively strong negative correlation between our emotions—when I feel a certain way, the other is quite likely to feel differently.

    • I notice a relatively weak correlation between our emotions, but my tulpa's emotions are not static overall—our emotions are roughly independent, though we both have considerable variation over time.

    • My tulpa is almost always in a positive emotional state, regardless of my own.

I experience depression and an axiety disorder. If those conditions are making themselves known for a significant period of time, it eventually does seem to affect the mood of the tulpas. We refer to this as "hormonal bleedover". It makes sense to us, as we are personalities running on the same brain, that the chemistry that the brain experiences should affect our psychological states. Having said that, our personalities are quite different so the way that each of us responds to that chemistry can be very different. Maya will usually try to cheer me up by gentle means (although she does occasionally tell me off or lapse into sarcasm), while Mara insists on becoming a drill seargent to snap me out of it and regulate chemistry using exercise etc. (and is almost always sarcastic).

Akecalo - Host

Maya - Tulpa

Mara - Tulpa

First option here. However, in retrospect it would've been more accurate if there was an option for "in the middle". Tess usually feels emotions similar to mine, but she's very compassionate and empathetic by nature, so that is probably a factor in play.

The one exception is the anxiety caused by a few irrational phobias that I have, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Tess says she understands OCD completely, since I've given her access to all my memories and inner thought processes, but she isn't affected by it herself. She usually tries to calm me down and tell me it's going to be okay. But she's usually happy if I am, and sad if I am because she wants me to feel better. She's awesome like that. :D

Currently restarting visualization in order to get it down perfectly.

Progress log (haven't used it in a while, but still forcing)

as in correlating host's emotions to tulpa's, none at all here. There's like, being happy or sad cus a friend is happy or sad, but otherwise na. Tewi is good at taking over when Lumi is really stressed and she's fine. And no one here is ever sad enough to make me not happy, so I'm always happy unless something makes me not happy usually IRL, that's rare too though. I think Tewi mighta said this in her post however long ago, but Flan is really connected to Lumi's emotions and vice versa, but that is because they love each other, not because she's a tulpa.

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!
