pudding May 16, 2016 May 16, 2016 I had an idea but don't know if it is good. I want to visualize my tulpa all the time, while I'm not distracted or when I have to do other things. We just want to reach our destination faster. ~Chi and Ly~
timethief May 16, 2016 May 16, 2016 It's good. Generally most types of attention help your tulpa develop faster.
Vos May 16, 2016 May 16, 2016 Your question seems pretty basic, so I've merged it into this thread. Visualizing your tulpa as often as possible is fine as long as you're not letting it get in the way of tasks that would require a lot of concentration.
NoneFromHell May 16, 2016 May 16, 2016 I had an idea but don't know if it is good. I want to visualize my tulpa all the time, while I'm not distracted or when I have to do other things. We just want to reach our destination faster. Welp, you can do this. But don't overdo it. keeping up a visualized tulpa all the time can be pretty exhausting, so you should expect to get tired, maybe dealing with headaches. Also don't force anything when you really try to rest (like sleeping) or your brain might end up processing information at all times, which may result in even worse headaches. With some training you will probably get used to it, though. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
CuriouslyInterested May 17, 2016 May 17, 2016 I have been reading up on all the guides and I am generally interested, if a bit cautious on this whole Tulpa business. But I started thinking about what I might want to set up as a Tulpa, and decided that I do not want a form for my Tulpa. I want another personality and sentience to have discussions with, but I am not entirely sure I want it to ever be something I impose into the physical world. However, I still want to be able to hear the tulpa, rather than having purely mindvoice conversations. Does giving the tulpa a form assist with finally being able to hear your Tulpa, or is it possible to merely have a personality and a voice? Also, is it possible to have your Tulpa be more of a fixture in your vision akin to a HUD it can use to interact with you rather than as an entity? The idea of visualizing an entity and being able to maintain any form of consistency seems incredibly difficult for me. I can barely visualize myself or people that I know with any form of consistency, so I can't even imagine creating another form. I appreciate any replies to this question.
Vos May 17, 2016 May 17, 2016 Some people find that having a basic form in the beginning is helpful when you're just starting out and getting into the swing of directing your thoughts, but it can just be seen as training wheels if you're ditching forms altogether down the road. It's certainly possible for a tulpa to be formless, but there's a chance that they might want one. I've heard of a few people having servitor HUDs before -- Glitch actually has a guide on that in this thread, and you could probably message him for elaboration where it's needed as he's still active around these parts. And yes, if you're not used to extensive visualization, it's likely going to seem very difficult for you in the beginning. Luckily, there are some neat visualization and focus exercises that can help you improve; here's the latest guide list.
CuriouslyInterested May 17, 2016 May 17, 2016 Thank you for the reply. I'm not exactly talking about a servitor HUD for my own personal use, but rather one that can be used by the Tulpa to communicate with me. I went through the Glitch guide and I'm not so sure that is what I am looking for, since he talks about using parroting to set up a set of routine tasks, which I believe would be counterproductive to development of a personality. I've bookmarked the guide list, and I think that will be quite useful for me.
Vos May 17, 2016 May 17, 2016 It looks like I misunderstood then, yeah. I can't say that I've heard of a tulpa using a HUD as a form before, but it doesn't seem outlandish or anything. It'd definitely take a lot of practice to make that kind of thing consistent.
Yowhassup May 18, 2016 May 18, 2016 Ok so ive had a fully sentient tulpa for about a month now and we are getting closer every day. i can see her but with no solidity. is that normal? is it possible to see her more clearly?
Hierophant May 24, 2016 May 24, 2016 It's normal. If you want to see her more clearly, practice visualization. Do this by imagining how she looks like. Keep imagining, every day.
