If I imagine an apple, how can I see anything other than an apple, though? Like if my tulpa was an apple, and they wanted to be a sword--how would I see them as a sword if I was imaging the apple form? How can a tulpa change my own perception?

Consider that tulpa's are sentient and able to make their own choices and decisions. Maybe a little less initially, in the very beginning stages, but later on!

It's the same as if you have a friend who always visits you wearing black clothing and one day they come wearing pink :). You expect them to wear black but bam! They surprise you!

If you learn to switch with your tulpa then during tests if your tulpa knows the answer could they do it for you? (Just curious)

Also could your tulpa tell you of things that you can't see yourself (e.g your sitting in your bedroom and you ask your tulpa to see what your sisters doing or whatever)

Can your tulpa fall in love with YOU?

Can you teach it stuff aswell like if your in school will your tulpa learn with you?

Thanks for your time C:

1. You both share the same brain, so if one of you doesn't know an answer then the other won't either.

2. No, tulpas live in your brain, they don't exist outside of it at all. They can only experience the world through your senses, they don't magically have access to information outside of that.

3. Yes, but that would be entirely up to the tulpa.

4. Again, you share the same brain. If one of you knows something, the other will too. If one of you learns something, the other will too. You don't have separate knowledge.

Your tulpa(s) can help you during tests insofar as if you studied with them, they may remember things you didn't quite. Most likely way to interpret this is you made connections with the information and your tulpa, but in practice it might just seem like your tulpa remembered and you didn't.

If they're active enough, they might just get you to study in the first place too..

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.

I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

Your tulpa isn't going to know anything that you don't; they might come to a different conclusion than you on something logic-based, possibly, but that's as far as it goes. Even if a tulpa was able to ace all of your tests, it would be unreasonable to expect them to do everything for you.

Also could your tulpa tell you of things that you can't see yourself (e.g your sitting in your bedroom and you ask your tulpa to see what your sisters doing or whatever)

They can give your their best guess as to what's going on but that's it. They exist in your head and aren't able to leave it to spy on your sister, sorry.

Can your tulpa fall in love with YOU?

Yes, tulpas are capable of love and every other emotion. People generally advise against creating a tulpa with the goal of having a romantic partner, however.

Can you teach it stuff aswell like if your in school will your tulpa learn with you?

You can sit down and spoonfeed your tulpa random tidbits of information but this would just be redundant. Your tulpa will know everything that you do.

One last question! If you learned something new but forgot it in a few days or something will your tulpa still be able to recall it?

No, their capacity to recall it would be equal to yours.

Even if you guys have the same knowledge, we are all different people, and just as likely to share or have completely different interests, passions and such as any pair of close friends/family. Just for example, they might be super interested in insects and want to always learn more about them and stop to look at ones you guys come across. Well maybe that doesn't interest you at all but you look up stuff for their sake (and they will definitely do it when switched) and you find yourself with a bunch of "useless" knowledge that they are passionate about. While it's great to share interests, it's just fair to give them a change to discover what they like and do their own stuff, part of sharing a body and head.

I have a newbie question. I think I've had a couple instances of emotional bleed-through. Is that a sign of sentience? Sometimes it's hard to imagine my tulpa is sentient (although I'm treating them as sentient from the start), because I don't usually feel anything from them, but then, wham, I'll get something.

Independent emotions from your tulpa are usually a very good sign of sentience, yes.
