Genesis feels ... pretty tense/anxious/just generally bad quite a lot of the time now (our previous posts here might lend some indication as to why) and I have no idea how to help them feel better in the short or long term.

We've got aphantasia and they currently lack speech, communicating via emotions (which their tense/anxious/shitty feelings make more difficult as well as being just bad to experience for both of us).

If you need more context please have a look at what we've posted on the forums before and ask any questions you need ... just uh,

please do lend us some advice anybody? Activities to relax them whether it's active-forcing stuff or not, ideas for what I can do to help them recover more properly, whatever else ... basically any advice y'all have would be much appreciated by us both! I do hope I don't come off as desperate I am very tired and whatnot

For the short term, you can work with your senses other than sight to get around the aphantasia. Try using your sense of hearing by listening to more uplifting types of music. Use ones that you actually like, don't force yourself to listen to, say, Christmas music if you hate them. Experiment with different types. This will also give a topic to talk to your tulpa about. For something non-musical, even something like a wind chime can help to cheer some people up auditorily.

Similarly you can experiment with your other senses. You can try out different types of incense if you are using your sense of smell. A good massage session, if you want to use your sense of touch. All of these can also provide chances for you to observe your tulpa, to see how they influence them and provide something to talk about. You can try to cook something, get the tulpa involved in the process of creating a tasty dish, and eat it together. Making something and then enjoying it together can also be very helpful.

I've also heard of good things about how salt baths can do a lot to remove that nasty feeling of funk, but this is not something I've had personal experience with. You can look it up elsewhere online to see if it's something you're interested in trying out.

For the long term, it would be helpful for you to work on the aphantasia so that it is overcome, rather for it to be something that forever limits what you can do.

I don't have anything to add, just repeating to pay attention if they like something a lot or a little. I do want to send them a best digital hug to try to help them feel better!
