Any reason for creating a tulpa that any creator has ever given will when given as much scrutiny appear incorrect. Under these circumstances, there are no good reasons for a tulpa to be created. We thank you, JD.

Pleeb created Chess for science.

I created Chloe because I'm lonely.

JDbar never said those reason were bad in his post, yes?

Also, you're using too much big words. Sure, it's impressive, but it's hindering communication which is the whole point of forums.

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.

Quite an informative thread, although I do fall into some of the categories myself. I have 'insta-tulpa' syndrome in particular, and my progress report lies in ruins somewhere on like page 50 of the forum. But, you know, even though I don't keep the report updated (I have never been good with any journal things) and I sometimes doubt that what I have is actually a tulpa by the definitions of this community, I still spend every day hanging out with my mindfolk in some capacity. I don't active force as much as I should, granted, but almost everything I do I do with my tulpa in mind, so....

At the end of the day I don't know. It's been four months and although she's proven herself on multiple occasions I still sometimes feel like I'm not quite at the same level as most other tulpamancers. But that's a subject for another time.

I just want to reiterate that everything in my post is opinion, and even if you agree with it, no part of it should be propagated as fact (as that tends to happen with large reviews or commentaries on tulpamancy that are published in text.)

If you believe that you yourself have committed any of these "bad practices", don't spend time worrying about whether your tulpa is really sentient or not. You're already in this, just keep going, and seek self-improvement. The most efficient way to tulpa-force has always been to do what you think works best, and if anything I have said here is in contradiction of how you like to roll, for the love of god ignore it. I'm just some angry self-righteous twat on the internet, and this is my rambling based on what I've seen in the community.

If you truly feel your reasons for creating a tulpa, switching, pregnancy, or anything else, are completely justified and have contributed to an increase in your happiness, then nothing I have said here matters. My statements are sweeping, and my disagreement with your practices are a result of my inability to understand you, whether it be because of different ethics, morals, personalities, or goals. I'm not going to suddenly agree with you when you say you are doing the right thing, but that's what opinions are for. As with everything else in this community, take it all with a grain of salt.

Makes sense to me; very well put, JD.

And please, call me G.

About your point on age, I personally despise 12 year olds. It is just something about that number. But that's beside the point. Considering that a Tulpa is simply an advanced form of imaginary friend, I think that you could do it at any age really. I say that if you are old enough to focus long enough to make the Tulpa, you have certainly proved that you have the mental fortitude required to have a Tulpa. I very much doubt that someone who can sit there visualizing things for 30 minutes every day is unable to successfully keep a happy Tulpa.

Misses Fede-Lasse.

Seven year olds cannot hold coherent thoughts. I seriously doubt they have the concentration and focus skills to make tulpa.

Also, I stopped updating my PR since last year because I realized that I'm just being attention whore in some post. I also realized that:

If your progress is normal, everything went as expected.

Nothing new was contributed to the forum, and most people just turned a blind eye to your PR.

If your progress have a strange, unconventional method and weird results.

Nothing new would be contributed, as 90% of other poster would call you RPer

b is "one" of the reasons why I wont put my Tupla making journal here. Its probably odd enough to some that my Tulpas have happened so fast but there has been other very odd stuff too which I wouldnt share due to the possibility of people thinking Im making things up (even I think it was very strange and Im very open minded).

I guess that leaves those at this site being often left to just hear the more common Tulpa making experiences. Its a pity that role players spoil things for others.

The problem I have with roleplayers is, when they claim something new or different, that now becomes part of our aggregate data. If roleplayer claims "I did X and Y happened", now when people ask about X, everyone says "yeah but watch out because Y can happen.". It throws off our knowledge about tulpas, and that's a serious offense as far as I'm concerned.

Remember when we thought falling asleep during forcing was a terrible no-no, based on the account of TOG's tulpa? It's like that, except instead of being misinformed by a fluke case, we're misinformed because of deliberate deception by someone manipulating our community for attention. That's terrible in my mind. Ban-worthy, if I had a say in it (and if roleplayers were easier to determine).

That I see as a big issue at this site and would affect this site more for the reason I give below.

. I think due to some people here who dont have Tulpas and hence no experience in them at all, often replying to posts .. hence many of the responses a this site are based on the heresay of what they've heard from others and others experiences (who could be role players) rather then there own. This waters down the "science" theme of this site.

I see myths being recycled over and over by those who dont have Tulpas. This is going to make science move forward very slow in this area due to so many misconceptions being put out.

Depends on the child some 7 year olds can.

It wouldnt surprise me to see a 9-10 year old at this site trying this esp due to the Tulpa ponies.
